The Key

Who is he who speaks and it comes to pass, when the Lord has not commanded it?Lam.3:37 [NKJV]

Why are you afraid? “Who is he who speaks and it comes to pass, when the Lord has not commanded it?” So why should you be afraid? So what if a sorcerer cursed you or a witch wants you dead. It does not matter; their counsel will always come to nothing in the Name of Jesus. Why? It is because God has not commanded it! Perhaps you are from one of those families where one person seems to run everyone’s life. And so everyone seems to prostrate before the person or else the person will grind them to dust. And you are afraid, afraid of a man or a woman? Say aloud, “I have set the Lord always before me, therefore I will not be afraid. Amen!”

However, in the case of Hezekiah, the death pronouncement was not from his doctors or from man, it was from the Lord. So what do you do when the weightiest statement in heaven and on earth appears to be against you? What do you do when Thus says the Lord is not aligning with you? A little background about Isaiah; he was not just a Prophet; he was the number one Prophet in the land. Hezekiah became king when he was twenty-five years. Isaiah mentored Hezekiah spiritually. Isaiah also backed him up when Sennacherib [king of Assyria] came against Hezekiah. He had already taken other territories and now had his sight set on Judah. Isaiah stood behind Hezekiah and God sent an angel that killed a hundred and eighty five thousand Assyrian soldiers in one night. And this was the same Isaiah that came to Hezekiah and said, Thus says the Lord.

What do you do when the weightiest statement in heaven and on earth appears to be against you? Who do you run to when the Most High issues a sentence against you? What should be your position? I am giving you the key today, are you ready? This is what you do; you appeal for mercy and cry for help. It may look so simple but a lot of people always miss it. Eli missed it. God told Eli that He was going to punish his sons for behaving badly. And Eli’s response was He is God let Him do what He wants to do. Do not miss it! When it appears bad, you appeal for mercy and cry for help. I pray you will get help from above.

Prayer: I have set the Lord always before me, therefore I will not be afraid. Lord, let Your mercy and help from above locate me today, in Jesus Name.
