His Way

“It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him John 9:3

Do not let a limitation in one area ground your entire life. Go! Move Forward! It is painful to see people’s lives come to a standstill just because they are trusting God for admission into the University, or for marriage, or for children. God is saying, do not allow a limitation in one area paralyze your whole life. In fact, as you begin to exercise in the other areas, as you begin to move in other areas of your life, help is on the way.

When it comes to God, you should not pre-empt God because God can do what He will do in whatever way He chooses. I have learnt not to pre-empt God; I just follow Him. I check, what is God saying? Is this where He is moving? And I follow. Do not pre-empt God. You do not know who God will use. Many people have fixed their eyes on man and just by doing that put themselves under a curse.

The Word of God says, cursed is he that makes the arm of flesh [man] his trust. People are spending countless hours praying that God will use a certain person to orchestrate their promotion. What if God does not want to use that person but still wants to promote and bless you? Again the Bible says, the person who fixes his or her eyes on man will not see good when it comes. God is sending good from direction ‘x’ but because the person is focused on direction ‘y’, he or she does not see it [misses it]. But if you are open to God, when good comes, you will see it. Stop trusting in man. When it comes to God be open and remain open.

In John 9, the man’s miracle had never been done before. Jesus did something new. What if God wants to do something new with you? Many of us desire one thing but God wants to do something totally different with us. What if God does not want to give you a job? What if God wants you to be an employer of labor? So He will let them fire you. His ways are not our ways and His ways are past finding. What I have learnt is this; hold on to what God has said and do not worry about how He will do it. Stop looking at man, fix your eyes on the Lord.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, teach me to fix my eyes on You alone and trust You with the ‘how’ of all that I am trusting You for, in Jesus Name.
