The Key
Mark 7:37 “They were completely amazed and said again and again, “Everything he does is wonderful. He even makes the deaf to hear and gives speech to those who cannot speak.”
Sound is being restored to you in the Name of Jesus. Sound that is coming to you and sound that is going from you is being restored in the Mighty Name of Jesus. So, Jesus went down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis. There is nothing insignificant in the Word of God. Decapolis was where they brought this man to Him, and He did this miracle. Decapolis was a region that had more Gentiles than Jews. So, even though at that dispensation Jesus was called to the lost sheep of the House of Israel, the Jews. Jesus would still pass by or stop by Decapolis. Decapolis represents you and me, the people who were not in the Commonwealth of Israel. Decapolis represents the people whom others can look down on.
But Jesus paid attention to Decapolis. Regardless of how jaded you think you are, Jesus will and is paying attention to you. Mark 7:37 “They were completely amazed and said again and again, “Everything he does is wonderful…”. I pray that by the time sound is restored to you, everyone around you will be completely amazed. And they will say again and again that everything you do is wonderful. In your office, your work will be so excellent that everybody around you will be completely amazed, and they will say everything you do is wonderful. In your business, your career, and concerning your destiny, it will be said of you that everything you do is wonderful.
The New International Version puts it this way, “People were overwhelmed with amazement. “He has done everything well…”. Everybody in your life will be overwhelmed with amazement, and they will say concerning you, that you have done everything well in the Name of Jesus (say Amen). So, a few things stand out to us, and the first is that this man, because he had an impairment, couldn’t access Jesus. He couldn’t even ask where this Jesus is. If they are saying Jesus is going to pass through that town, he would not even be able to hear them. So, the challenge was inhibiting him from locating Jesus. But this man had community.
Again, we are back to community and the truth is that none of us is as strong as all of us. None of us is as wise as all of us. So, even though he didn’t have access to Jesus, he had Access Through Community. He was deaf and mute, yet he had help because of community – people brought him to Jesus. There are certain levels in life that people will have to take you. When it comes to things that pertain to your destiny, you need people to help you. And you will not lack people who will help you in the Name of Jesus.
Prayer: Father, thank You for boundless love for me, in the Name of Jesus. Amen!
