Overflow I

“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]” John 10:10 [AMP]

God wants to bring you to abundance. A lot of people are just content with having life but Jesus is saying to us today, I have come to give you abundant life. We have moved from death to life. Now God is saying you need to move from life to life abundant.

We explained that moving from death to life means moving from physical death to physical life. But going from physical life to physical abundance of life means that anyone that comes in contact with you that is dying physically, comes back to life. That is what abundance means as far as physical life is concerned. Remember the story of Elisha? Elisha was physically dead and buried in the tomb. But when a dead man was dumped on him, the dead man came back to life. Why? Even in death, Elisha was still carrying abundance of life. That is what God wants.

So if bitterness to sweetness is moving from death to life, abundance of sweetness would mean when anyone with a marah situation in their lives comes in contact with you, that marah becomes sweetened waters. That is the abundance because you have plenty left over to share with others. So you are not just filled with sweetness but your sweetness can change other people’s marah to sweetened waters.

If death to life is moving from sickness to health, then abundance of health would mean having so much health and life that when sick people come in contact with you, they become healed. Why? It is because you have plenty left over to share with others even in health. Remember Jesus and the woman with the issue of blood [Luke 8]? You lay your hands on the sick and they will recover because you are carrying abundance of health.

Death to life also means moving from slavery to freedom. So abundance of freedom would mean being free from everything that has kept you in slavery. And because you have plenty left over to share with others, anyone that is bound or enslaved to anything or any habit that comes in contact with you, gets their freedom. That is the abundance that God is saying. It overflows into other people’s lives.

Prayer: Jesus, I move from life to life abundant and I decree that life abundance shall flow, overflow through me and transform other lives for you, in Jesus Name.
