Knowing VI

Rom.8:1 [Voice]Therefore, now no condemnation awaits those who are living in Jesus the Anointed, the Liberating King”

Guiltiness is not next to Godliness! A lot of people liken the feeling of being guilty to spirituality. So many people are used to just feeling downtrodden before God because they believe guiltiness is next to Godliness. Again I say guiltiness is not next to Godliness. That feeling of guilt that you feel when you are about to pray, is not from God; it is the devil. The goal of condemnation is to put you down. The objective of conviction is to lift you up. Conviction has a definite solution; the Holy Spirit will tell you how to resolve issues and be guilt free. Condemnation usually has no solution, and if any, it usually compounds the problem.

Condemnation tells you nothing is enough. Conviction tells you Christ is enough. With conviction, as soon as you acknowledge and repent, the feeling of guilt goes away. But with condemnation, the feeling of guilt never leaves. One thing you need to know is that the Holy Spirit will never attack your person or your self-worth. He will never attack your values and He will never put you down. When you hear things like, you are no good and you will never amount to anything, it is from the devil; so do not yield to it.

Test #5 to know if a message is from God is: Do I sense God’s peace about it? God is about to lead you, but He will lead you with peace into peace.  1Cor.14:33 [NKJV] “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace…” So if you feel overwhelmed, or pressured, or driven to make a life decision in a short time, then question the decision. God’s peace is peace! It is not worry or pressure. God has never led anyone in the Bible through pressure check! God never rushes us into making decisions. It is satan that drives people to act compulsively. God’s Spirit draws us convincingly. Huge difference! If you feel compulsive stop! If you feel pressured, stop and check. Col.3:15And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts…” If you are filled with worry, anxiety, or fear it is either a product of your own mind or the devil, not God. Test the voice you hear with this truth as well as with the others.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, let me know Your peace that passes all understanding and let Your peace guide my heart, my choices and my decisions, in Jesus Name. Amen!
