1 Pet.3:3 “Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. 4 You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.”

1 Pet.3:5This is how the holy women of old made themselves beautiful. They put their trust in God and accepted the authority…” God is just amazing! Right here in His Word, He has laid out the keys to lasting beauty. Do not get me

wrong; as a lady you must take care of yourself. But you are not to be completely focused on looking good, sounding right and smelling good. If you are not good within, all those things will not matter. Imagine buying a designer perfume, the package came with the designers seal so you have no reason to question its quality, however at first use, you can tell it is anything but the designer’s brand. Even though the packaging looked the part, the content did not fit. That is the true character of that perfume. No matter what you thought, how beautiful the box looked, and how attractive the bottle was, the content has automatically nullified everything else.

For everyone reading this and is of marriageable age and desires to get married or remarry, I pray that God will grant your heart’s desire, in Jesus Name. God has changed your destiny for good, so be deliberate about developing character – Godly character. Ruth had Godly character; she had made up her mind that she would stick to the God of Naomi. She said your God would be my God. She sought God and allowed God to transform her from the inside out. And in no time, Boaz picked her out of the crowd and they got married. Question: Do you think Ruth looked the part? But there is something about giving yourself to God and Godliness that sets you apart. It was how the holy women of old distinguished themselves.

Boaz found a good thing in Ruth, he found a Godly woman. If you have found a lady with Godly character, stop waiting just approach her. The Bible says, he that finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour with God. Be bold and speak to her! You will obtain favour from God, in Jesus Name. The Bible says in Psalm 68:6, “God sets the solitary in families”. It was God that settled Ruth; God settled Naomi, settled Ruth and settled Boaz. Ladies, I encourage you to get ready, you will be fruitful and get married in Jesus Name.

Thought: Waiting time is not wasted time; prepare, pray, ponder and meet new people.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me to keep my focus on You alone, in Jesus Name. Amen!
