Get To Work!

Isa.40:29 He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.

The world has no sympathy for the weak. The only place where your weakness is valuable is in the Presence of God. That is the only place where, when we are weak, we are made strong. It is in His Presence that we can exchange our weakness for His strength. “Unto him that overcometh”, this phrase is repeated a couple of times in the Book of Revelations. The Bible does not have any message directed toward him that is defeated. That is very instructive to us. You have to be strong. Yes it is tough but you have to be strong because that problem, that challenge, or that sickness you are facing, has an expiry date.

The question is when that challenge expires, where will you be? Some people experience marital challenges and by the time the problem expires, they too have expired. Either they come down with an illness or they become confined to a wheel chair. But for the category of people that draw strength from God, when the problem expires, they remain standing. You will come out standing, in Jesus Name. So be strong!

Hagg.2:4 “But now the Lord says: Be strong, Zerubbabel. Be strong, Jeshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people still left in the land. And now get to work…” [emphasis added]. Begin to work, start something, and do something. Begin to work means begin to sacrifice. Sacrifice for that level that you desire. You are where you are today because of the sacrifices you made yesterday. In your career, in your business, and in your finances, you are where you are today, because of the sacrifices you made yesterday or because of the sacrifices you choose not to make.

God said to Abraham, “give me your son, your only son Isaac”. Abraham knew that as soon as God placed a demand on Isaac, if he held on to Isaac, Isaac would remain useless. So Abraham said, “He is able to resurrect him again” and with that he was ready to kill Isaac.” Then God said, “Now I know you fear the Lord”. If you hold on to anything in your possession that God has placed a demand on, that thing will become useless to you.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I bring Your Word back to You, I declare that I can do all things, not some things but all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me, in Jesus Name. Amen!
