The Father’s Heart
Ps.103:7 “He revealed his character to Moses and his deeds to the people of Israel”
The ways of God are both the formula [the ordinance of heaven] and the act [the character] of the Father. You must know both to understand the ways of God. It is not just the ordinances; if you know just the formulas you are going to get into trouble. Why? It is because if you know just the formula, you will get the result. The beauty of the formula is that you do not even have to be saved to know it. If you know it and work it, you will get the results but you can lose your soul. It is possible to actually operate under the ordinances of heaven and go to hell.
Matt.16:24 “For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” [NKJV]. In other words, what will it profit a man if he knows how to deploy every principle of heaven, get the result but lose his soul? If you know the formula as it flows from the heart of the Father, you will never be stranded. If you know the formula as it flows from God’s heart, you will never be stranded. It is like deriving a formula by first principle. Personally, I love deriving my formulas from first principle. In university, I did a lot of mathematics. This required knowing a lot of formulas. But rather than memorize formulas, I prefer to first derive them. When you derive a formula you can never go wrong.
If you think in first principle, you can crack problems easily. You can come up with innovative thinking. But most people do not think in first principle. Human beings actually think in analogies. That is why we learn a lot from mentors. But thinking in first principle positions you to easily deconstruct things and reconstruct them. When we apply the ordinances of heaven as it flows from the heart of the Father, it is like the first principle; you can never go wrong and can never be stranded. And that is what Jesus always did; and that is why Jesus always prevailed over the enemy.
Prayer [song]: Show me Your way, that I may walk with You. Show me Your way, I put my trust in You. The cry of my heart is to love You Lord and live with the touch of Your hand. Stronger each day, show me Your way. Amen!
