The Anointing

1 Jn 2:20 “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things… 27 …the anointing …abides in you, …the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him” [NKJV]

I pray that as you trust God for a miracle and come into His Presence with your point of contact item, God’s wonders will burst forth in your life, in Jesus Name. When we look at the supernatural and at the miracles of God, we cannot but talk about the power of God – the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The nature of the anointing is that it is difficult to separate the anointing of God from God. The anointing of God and God are almost inseparable.
To anoint literarily means to “rub on”, to “smear”. When they anoint sheep with oil, they rub the oil all over the sheep so that flies cannot crawl into the head of the sheep through its nose and lay eggs in there. When God anoints you, God rubs Himself all over you. When you are anointed, you are actually carrying God Himself and that is huge.

As you are anointed, you become the apple of His eyes. That is why anyone that touches you, touches the apple of His eyes. And God says, touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm. Which is why when any enemy attempts to touch you, God arises because they are messing with Him. The name Christ [Messiah] actually means the Anointed One and His anointing. So you cannot separate the anointed one from the anointing and vice versa.

The process of God transferring [communicating] His power from one source to another source is called an anointing process. And to really understand how God does it, we will be using science as a reference point. Science explains how God works in an amazing way even though sometimes they cannot get really far. Physics, for instance, explains how power is transferred from one source to another source. You will agree with me that after mathematics, physics is the next simplest subject on earth.

Physics deals with physical things such as mass and energy and how they interact. Physics tells us that there are three main ways energy is transferred from one source to another – Conduction, Convection, and Radiation. I am adding a fourth way through which energy can be transferred and that is Charge and Discharge.

Prayer [song]: Anointing, fall on me. Anointing, fall on me. Let the power of the Holy Ghost fall on me. Anointing, fall on me. Amen!
