Jesus!

John 14:⁶ “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

I am here to tell you that Jesus is alive. People like to attack Christians because they claim that the Christian way of thinking is too narrow. And their argument is – how can there be only one way to God? Pay attention to what I am about to say next; it helped me and it will set you free. God is not a product of my thinking; God is God regardless of what I think. If you have a god that is the product of your thinking and a product of your philosophy, your god is too small. My God has been God even before I knew how to think and He will still be God long after I am gone and forgotten. God will still be God after you are gone and forgotten.

John 14:⁶ “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” Jesus said it Himself; it was not a reported statement. In my walk with God, I have had my personal struggles with the question, is Jesus the only way? So I had to research the major world religions to find out if the claim is true. Yes, my grandmother taught me, my mother has taught me, but I needed to find out myself and I suggest you do the same. These are my findings and this information is in the public domain.

The central figure in Buddhism, Buddha, when asked about the truth on his deathbed, had this to say. “I’m still in search of the truth”. In Hinduism, Krishna is the central figure. Krishna said and it is recorded in the Hindu scriptures, “The truth is like a butterfly; to get the truth you need to chant Krishna, Krishna Ramah, Ramah Krishna, Krishna and maybe, just maybe, you will get the truth”. In Judaism, Moses is the central figure. Moses said “a prophet is coming, Him should you listen to”. In Islam, Mohammed is the central figure. Mohammed said, “I am a prophet. I am not the truth. I only point the way to the truth.” But Jesus came and said, “I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life! Nobody comes to the father except by me!” Who are you going to follow? Acts 4:¹² “There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”

Prayer [song]: I believe in Jesus. I believe He is the Son of God. I believe He died and rose again. I believe He paid for us all. And I believe He’s here now [echo]. Standing in our midst. Here with the power to heal now [echo] and the grace to forgive. Amen!
