Backed Up

Jer.1:^18-19 (MSG) “Stand at attention… I’m making you as impregnable as a castle, Immovable as a steel post, solid as a concrete block wall. You’re a one-man defense system… They’ll fight you, but they won’t even scratch you. I’ll back you up every inch of the way.” God’s Decree.”

God is going to crush every resistance of and every affliction from the enemy in your life, in Jesus Name. When you begin to become, expect resistance – just expect it. Jesus says, “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail.” In other words, there is going to be resistance by the time you begin to advance. But because you have come into God’s Presence today, you will crush every resistance to your destiny by the power of the Holy Spirit.

A classic example of this is the story of the Jews in Numbers 22-24 [please read]. As they were advancing and becoming great, king Balak was threatened. So he hired prophet Balaam to curse the people of Israel. I want you to know that the reality of the spiritual is that when you begin to advance by reason of the positive supernatural, you are going to be c   by reason of the negative supernatural. People that you do not even know, will set up altars just to curse you, but they will fail, in Jesus Name. You need to shred the idea that if you do not offend anyone, no one will be angry with you. Shred it because it is a big lie. The fact that you look so good is offensive to some people and you need to know that.

Num.22:⁶ “Please come and curse these people for me because they are too powerful for me. Then perhaps I will be able to conquer them and drive them from the land…” [with emphasis]

Meanwhile, the nation of Israel had no idea that this was going on. You are going to become too powerful for your adversaries, in Jesus Name. Believe me! It will be clear to your adversaries that they need to do something about you but they will fail, in Jesus Name. You are not reading this devotional by chance; God brought you into His Presence today for a purpose and that purpose will be fulfilled.

Num.22:¹⁷ “I will pay you very well and do whatever you tell me. Just come and curse these people for me!” ¹⁸ But Balaam responded to Balak’s messengers, “Even if Balak were to give me his palace filled with silver and gold, I would be powerless to do anything against…” {these people} [with emphasis and additions]. This will be the same for you, in Jesus Name.

Prayer: Father, in the Name of Jesus, I declare in line with God’s Word, that I and my house hold are immovable, impregnable, and backed up by the Living God, in Jesus Name. Amen
