Col.3:²⁴ (GN)”… Remember that the Lord will reward you… For Christ is the real Master you serve.” [with emphasis]

When we work for the Lord and work like the Lord then we should expect our reward from the Lord. This is the third step to having a proper perspective. Even when it is time for appraisal and evaluation, even when other people are lobbying or sucking up to the person in charge, you are calm. And it is because you understand that “…promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.” If you have worked for the Lord and worked like the Lord, then expect your reward from the Lord.

A lot of people have bought into the lie that playing politics is the only way to survive. Yet there are people that do not play politics and heaven ensures that they never miss a promotion. I am here to tell you that playing politics is not the only way to survive. Psalm 20:⁷ (KJV) “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.” You need to understand that there is a force that can lift you up and no man on earth can pull you down or hold you down. I pray that you will align with that force from heaven, in Jesus Name.

Expect your reward from the Lord “…For Christ is the real Master you serve.” When you work for the Lord and work like the Lord, you get paid twice! Your organization first pays you then heaven also pays you; is that not just fantastic? So, you are on a fast track because even after your organization has paid you, God says this person actually worked for Me and He also pays you. Guess what? You are not only going to be getting heaven’s reward here on earth, you will also be getting rewarded in heaven.

Stop worrying about your boss, or your leader, or your pastor noticing your work or not noticing your work. These people do not need to see what you are doing before you get rewarded. God already sees what you are doing and He is The Rewarder.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are the real Master that I serve and will continue to serve. I look to You for my ultimate reward Lord, in Jesus Name. Amen!
