Christ-Like

1 Cor.2:¹⁶ “For, “Who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?” But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.”

I did no go to Bible college; in fact, you can all me a Bible college dropout. I did two days in Bible college and dropped out. Do not get me wrong, I do not think there is anything wrong with Bible college and I love knowledge. But I sat down in Bible College and was struggling, I could not fit in. The lecturers tried to get me back, but I absconded. To the glory of God, they want me to come and lecture in that same Bible College I absconded from. But I have dodged that one also because God has not sent me there; I go where God has sent me. I was the least qualified; unqualified if you will. But God uses the weak things.

I met another of my university classmates at one of the malls. He introduced me to his wife as a former classmate who is now a pastor. Then he said to his wife that this is why he does not go to church if someone like this (myself) can be a pastor. Do you think you are a write off or that you are so bad? When you hear other people’s stories and how God used them, you will know that God can use you. God can change your story. I pray that God will change your story and He alone will get the glory in Jesus Name.

Philip. 2:⁵ “You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. ⁶ Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. ⁷ Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, ⁸ he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. ⁹ Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, ¹⁰ that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, ¹¹ and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” [with emphasis].

Why will God change your life and use you as a child to the rescue? It is all about the glory of God the Father. Why would God use you to change the story of your family, of your lineage? Why would God start a new generation through you? It is because of the glory of God the Father. The Word of God says in Philp.2:⁵ (NKJV) “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus”. Jesus humbled himself, he became a child. He was God, but he left his throne, did not hold on to his privileges. Jesus had privileges, but He did not use it. “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus”.

Prayer: Father, I declare in the Name of Jesus that I have the mind of Christ, and in my life, You alone will take all the glory, in Jesus Name. Amen!
