The Path

John 2:11 “This miraculous sign at Cana in Galilee was the first time Jesus revealed his glory. And his disciples believed in him.”

John 2:9-10When the master of ceremonies tasted the water that was now wine, not knowing where it had come from (though, of course, the servants knew), he called the bridegroom over. “A host always serves the best wine first,” he said. “Then, when everyone has had a lot to drink, he brings out the less expensive wine. But you have kept the best until now!” (NRSV, emphasis added). Every time people look at your life and say, “We thought we had seen your best, but this is even better!” Know that Jesus is at work and you have to give Him all the glory.

Back in the day, particularly when God’s Favourite House started, unknown to me some of my Pastor friends abused me. I only found out much later when a Pastor and his wife came to my office. The man knelt and asked me to pray for him. I was curious to know why. He said, “When you started God’s Favourite House, we abused you. We said we have seen what he can do, nothing can be better than that.” He says, “But we have heard miracles that God has done through you since God’s Favourite House started. We have seen with our eyes, we talk to people, God is with you. We thought we had seen the best, but this is better. Pray for us!” I know some people cannot relate to this, but some will. So, I prayed for them and they left.

I am praying in the Name of Jesus, that your life becomes better and better. I pray that people will not look at your life and say, “We thought it was good, but it is actually worse.” That will not be your portion. People will look at your life and say, “We thought we had seen the best.” But heaven will answer and say, “The best is yet to come!”, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Some of you think you have seen your financial peak, you think all you need to do now is to save. Listen, the best is yet to come in the Name of Jesus. When people look at your life and they say, “We thought this man was finished…” For some people reading this today, you rose to a career peak but you lost the job and people think it is over for you. It is not over for you; you are not done. You are rebooting. When the Pastor and his wife came to my office, personally, I was surprised. I was not there; I did not know all the things they said about me. They said, “We abused you. We called you names. We said you are this and that.”

But Jesus saves the best for later. Jesus always saves the best for later. When people turn their back on you, it is fine. The next time they check you out, you would be on a higher level. Jesus always saves the best for later. Prov. 4:18But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, your path will be that of a shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day.

Prayer [song]: Just the beginning, in your heart you know what God has promised you. Just the beginning, never compromise or settle for less than you do. Just the beginning, I know you’re blessed but you still haven’t seen God’s best not yet… Amen!
