Your Response, VI

Isaiah 60:⁵ “Your eyes will shine, and your heart will thrill with joy, for merchants from around the world will come to you. They will bring you the wealth of many lands.”

We learnt yesterday about positive phototropism and negative phototropism. With positive phototropism, the plants grow towards the light. But in negative phototropism, the plants grow away from the light into darkness. Sadly, there are people whom God is calling but they are moving away from God. Negative phototropism is a sign that the devil is on a person’s case. That power of hell will be broken now in the Name of Jesus. God will substitute it and you will have positive phototropism which means you will begin to respond to light. Psalm 34:⁵ “Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.” (emphasis added). ‘Those who look’; it is as though there is a choice there.

You can choose to look to God for help and you will be radiant with joy. No shadow of shame will darken your face in the Name of Jesus. Psalm 36:⁹ “For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.” (NIV). In His light, we see light. So, I speak Isaiah 60:5 over you and into your life today, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, “Your eyes will shine, and your heart will thrill with joy, for merchants from around the world will come to you. They will bring you the wealth of many lands.” Say Amen! When all this is said and done, your eyes will shine, and you will thrill with joy, and merchants from around the world will search for you and will come to you and will bring you the wealth of many lands in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

So, in addition to photosynthesis and phototropism, the third basic way trees respond to light is what is known as Photoperiodism. In photoperiodism flowering and other developmental processes happen in response to light. You are going to flower as the glory and the beauty of God comes upon you. But do not get it twisted. The beauty of God will come upon you for the purpose of flowering, attractiveness which is reproduction. Even with humans, the purpose of beauty is really reproduction, multiplication, and bearing fruit. You are going to flower physically. You are going to flower mentally. You are going to flower spiritually. Everything that is known as bareness comes to an end in your life today in the Name of Jesus. It will be impossible for you to be ignored because photoperiodism is going to happen. You are going to begin to flower, to bloom, and to blossom, in the Name of Jesus.

Prayer: Father, as Your beauty shines on me, I will produce, I will multiply, and I will bloom, in Jesus Name. Amen!
