Energy vs. Time

Colossians 1:²⁹ “This is my work, and I can do it only because Christ’s mighty energy is at work within me.” (LB)

As God lifts you, the first thing you need to know is, Not All Addition Leads to Increase and Not All Subtraction Leads to Decrease. Secondly, God Wants To Promote You In Front Of Your Opposition. Thirdly, You Cannot Be Mighty And Be Petty At The Same Time. The fourth thing is, You Need To Focus On People, Humility, And Wisdom. The fifth thing is, there are Necessary Bows for Your Lifting. The sixth thing is, Lifting Has To Do With Stretching. The seventh is, You Were Made For Community. The eighth thing is, The More Things Change, The More You Must Take Refuge In The Things That Never Change. As God lifts you the nineth thing you need to know is, How You Deploy Your Energy Not Just Your Time, Will Be the Game Changer.

Time is so important but when it comes to fulfilment of destiny, time sometimes can be overrated. Time management is an obsession today but when you look at it carefully, time is a constant. It is one thing everybody has equally, the richest man in the world and the poorest man in the world both have the same twenty-four hours. You cannot increase or reduce your time. You can try but it will not work. So, the question is can time really be managed since the concept of management is improving on something by taking it through a process, or by getting much more out of it? For example, if you manage your money, you can multiply it. The things you can manage, you should be able to increase or decrease.

However, we cannot increase or decrease time. Energy, on the other hand, can be increased or depleted. You can have twenty-four hours and be out of energy in two hours. For you to be optimal in this season, in the remaining days of this year, and in this decade of destiny, you must master your energy. In the year 2020 when COVID-19 struck, employers discovered that they were not actually paying people for their time. What working from home revealed to employers was that they were paying people for their energy, not their time. And because employers were paying people for their energy, letting employees work from home yielded much more because energy was higher. People discovered that they work more from home. Some smart employers just kept their people working from home because they get much more energy out of them.
