Be An Example

1 Timothy 4:¹² “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.”

Proverbs 23:⁷ “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he [in behaviour…”. If you think you are a king, you are a king even if it is of your own living room. You can start from there, but your kingship, your domain, will increase. If you think that you are on top, you will be on top eventually. It is not just about positive thinking. It is about preparedness; positive thinking that leads to preparedness that makes the door open. The first bait you should not bite is I Am Too Young For That sometimes masked in I am still young. Guess what? They used to tell us that we are still young, but before you know it, you wake up and they are telling you that you are too old for this and that. So, do not believe anybody who is telling you that you are too young to be a millionaire. Why should you think you are too young to be a millionaire? No, you are not.

If you need permission, Heaven is giving you permission now. You are not too young. 1 Timothy 4:¹² “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all…”.  Don’t say you are too young; you are not too young. I remember two people who wanted to get married; the lady was nineteen, and the guy was twenty-one. I said, “Okay, let’s do it!” And people said, “Oh, Pastor, don’t you think they are too young?” Too young for what? They are adults. The man has a source of income. The lady is also working even though she is schooling. But Pastor, isn’t that too aggressive? I am not saying everybody should get married at nineteen or at eighteen. I am saying if it is in your heart to do and you want to do it, go ahead and do it.

But Pastor, are you not encouraging… Listen, what God is saying is that when you bite the bait that you are too young, you will remain incapacitated. You need to get up and be all that God has called you to be. While some are saying they are too young to get married, some who are married are saying they are too young to have children. Married, but you are too young to have children? Someone reading this is saying I am too young to run for office and become the president of this nation. You are not too young. You are the one the nation needs.

Or perhaps, you are saying you are too young to start a business? No, you are not. Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, was nineteen when he founded Facebook. Jack Ma, founder of the e-commerce platform Alibaba, was nineteen when he started. Elon Musk started his very first company at twenty-four. Mr Dell started Dell Computers at twenty-one. Bill Gates was sixteen when he started Microsoft. What is the excuse of being too young?
