Good Morning

Psalm 30:5 “For His anger is but for a moment, His favour is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.” (NKJV)

How many homes have been under pressure because the husband said something, and the wife reached the wrong conclusion? And it is because she thought she understood what he said, and it became a problem. How many parents and children, boss and staff relationships are under pressure because of a lack of understanding? Understanding is key. In Matthew 6:5-12, Jesus had to explain to His disciples and remind them that they were present during the feeding of the five thousand and the four thousand. So, how come they do not understand that He is not talking about the lack of bread but about something different?

Often times, God is talking about something different. Yes, you heard from God. Yes, God showed you that vision. Yes, you had that dream, and it is from God. However, do you understand it, or are you assuming the meaning and interpretation? God has sent me to tell you to seek proper understanding. As we declare by the Spirit of the Lord that it is a new day, do you understand it? It is a new day; do you really understand it? I pray that you do, and you will in the Name of Jesus, because it is a new day. And I trust that the Lord will give you understanding. It is a new day. Why would God say it is a new day at the beginning of the second half of the year? Is He not aware of the calendar?

First things first, God really doesn’t go by the human calendar. I hope you know that. At least not the calendar we have today. However, He works with us regardless. To really understand this, if you check scripture from Genesis chapter one, you will see it says and the evening and the morning was the first day, and the evening and the morning was the second day and on and on. For us, the Western mindset, it is the morning and evening then the first day. That is how we count our days. Our days are counted morning and evening, first day and on and on. But the Jews don’t count their days like that. It is the evening and the morning, the first day.

That is what you will see in several scriptures. For instance, weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. That is, in the full day, night can come with weeping, but the day is not over because morning is coming. For some of us reading this, you have been weeping. Listen, your day is not over because morning is coming in the Name of Jesus. In fact, morning has come. The way God works is that wilderness comes before the Promised Land, and darkness comes before light. If you have experienced darkness, light is coming. In fact, light has come!

Prayer: Father, by Your Spirit, I declare that it is a new day, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen!
