Aligned

1 Thessalonians 2:^11-12 “as you know how we exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children, that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.” (NKJV)

When the wheels of a car are aligned, there is an increase in the performance of the wheels and the vehicle. And the wheels are long-lasting. Alignment improves handling, it prevents drifting. Alignment eradicates strange vibrations. When a vehicle is not aligned it will sometimes vibrate. Alignment saves fuel, it saves power. Your story may be that of one who is just dissipating power. Today, you will be aligned, and you will be optimal in your power utilization in Jesus Name.

Therefore, because you will be aligned, every strange vibration in your life will be eradicated. You will not drift, and your handling will be improved. The Holy Spirit’s control of you will be improved in the Name of Jesus. You will last long, and increase in your performance in Jesus Mighty Name. When we look at the lives of Jesus and Paul, both of them were aligned. Jesus at twelve years was saying in Luke 2:⁴⁹ “I MUST be about my father’s business.”  (NKJV, emphasis added). In other words, I must be aligned with my Father’s business. At Gethsemane, when Jesus was done, He said in John 17:⁴ “I brought glory to you on earth. I have FINISHED the work you gave me to do.”  (NIV/GN).

I pray in the Name of Jesus that even before you die (at the end of your life), you will confidently say to the Lord, I have brought You glory on earth. I have finished the work You gave me to do. That is a life that is aligned, and it is so huge. Paul speaking in Acts 20:²⁴ “I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may complete the race and FINISH THE TASK that the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.” (NIV, emphasis added). And at the end of Paul’s life, Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:⁷ “I have fought the good fight, I HAVE FINISHED the race, and I have kept the faith.” (NIV, emphasis added). Again, that is a life that is aligned. I pray that your life will be aligned in the Name of Jesus. And it is because, we only get the highest power when we are doing the greatest tasks. We only get the highest power when we are aligned.

The resources of heaven available to you, are directly proportional to how aligned you are to the cause of heaven. So, how do we keep the main thing, the main thing? How do we stay aligned? How do we stay above drifting, and discouragement? We will delve into three things beginning tomorrow. This season and beyond, God will align you and keep you aligned.

Prayer:  Father, I pray that like Jesus, my life will be completely aligned, that I will be about my Father’s business and finish the work You have given me to do, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
