Be Sensitive!

Psalm 123:^1-2 “I lift my eyes to you, O God, enthroned in heaven. We keep looking to the Lord our God for his mercy, just as servants keep their eyes on their master, as a slave girl watches her mistress for the slightest signal.”

The first thing that stands out from 1 Kings 18:41-44 is Go and Look. The second thing that stands out is Look Towards The Sea. The third thing that stands out is What Do You See? The rain is upon us, it has been declared. What do you see? Sight is so powerful. 1 Kings 18:⁴⁴ “The seventh time, the servant came back and said, “I saw a small cloud the size of a man’s fist that was coming in from the sea.” Elijah told the servant, “Go tell King Ahab to get his chariot ready and go home now. If he does not leave now, the rain will stop him.” (ERV, emphasis added). In other words, “Man of God, the condensation is small, but I see it and it is coming down.”

Now, two main things could have happened. First, Elijah’s servant could have missed it. I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth that you will not miss your signal. Our anchor scripture says the “…slave girl watches her mistress for the slightest signal.” (emphasis added). There are signals at this time. Are you seeing them? You will not miss it in the Name of Jesus. You will not miss the signals that will trigger your rain in the Name of Jesus. Elijah’s servant said, “I saw a small cloud…”. In other words, there is some form of condensation. A small cloud has gathered; do not miss it. It is easy to miss it because it is so small that you may not even see it.

A lot of people are missing their signals because it is a slight signal. However, that is why it is called a signal. You have to see it and not miss it. I pray that you will not miss it in the Name of Jesus. Many people don’t see because they miss it. Now, if you look at it naturally, can you really blame Elijah’s servant if he missed it? This man has been coming and going seven times. Think about it, if you actually see a cloud towards the sea, is that out of place? But he was very sensitive. Credit to this servant because he was so attentive, so focused. You have to be sensitive, attentive, and focused so that even though it is the seventh time, even though you have gone over and over, you will still see accurately. You will see accurately in Jesus Name.

Many people are not seeing the slightest signal of their life partner. I pray that you will see that signal of your life partner in the Mighty Name of Jesus. There is a signal that you will see, and you will know that this person, and then you will move in that direction. It is actually not difficult. Speaking to young men, particularly, I said, “You are doing well. Yes, you are not a billionaire yet. But you will be in Jesus Name. Just make a move.” And they say, “But we have not seen the right person.” You will not miss it in the Name of Jesus. Most times, the right person is just there.

Prayer: Father, heighten my sensitivity by Your Spirit, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen!
