Confront It!

“The Lord took hold of me, and I was carried away by the Spirit of the Lord to a valley filled with bones” Eze.37:1

Please read Ezekiel 37:1-14. God needed to work with Ezekiel to change the dry bones situation. God needs to work with you to change whatever situation you are facing. Whatever you forbid on earth, whatever you disallow on earth, will be bound, forbidden, disallowed in heaven. Whatever you permit, whatever you allow on earth will be allowed in heaven [Matthew 16:19 paraphrased]. God was saying to Ezekiel that you cannot have transformation if you are unwilling to change. You cannot see the transformation, if you are unwilling to face the dry bone situation.

Sometimes we want to shy away from the dry bone situations, or hide from it, or even wish it away. Some people even attempt to sweep it under the carpet. But God is saying you have to face the dry bone situation; stop avoiding it. For some people, the dry bones situation is their mother, or their health, or their finances, or a loved one that is not yet saved. So they do not want to face it but God is saying you cannot change what you avoid. God led Ezekiel to face the dry bone situation. Why? Because you cannot change what you do not confront. Some of us just want to forget that part of our lives exists because of the heartache. But God is saying, those dry bones will live again. For some of us, it is our marriages, or there is a child that has gone delinquent, or our jobs, or our businesses. Listen to me, the dry bones will live again, in the Name of Jesus.

The first thing you need to know in moving from death to life, is that it always begins with God. The Lord took hold of me, and I was carried away by the Spirit of the Lord to a valley filled with bones” Eze.37:1. I pray that God will take hold of you. It always starts with God. So if you have a dry bone situation and you are running from God, you are running from what can change the situation. If you are in a dry bone situation and you are not yielding to God, you are elongating the duration. If you are not cooperating with God, you still want to run your life the way you want, then, you are not helping yourself. Why? Again, it is because it always starts with God.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that You will take hold of me and lead me by Your Spirit. Help me to be completely yielded to You as I confront the dry bone situation in my life, in Jesus Name.
