His Delight

Ps.50:5 “Bring my faithful people to me – those who made a covenant with me by giving sacrifices”

It is okay to start small. Just start and go forward! You and I must develop the willingness to do what it takes. God says, “Do not despise the days of little beginnings”. Do not despise what God rejoices in. A church invited a pastor to minister in their church and   the day the pastor arrived, the church sent a car to the airport to pick him up. When this pastor came out of the airport and saw that the pick up car was a mini, he refused to enter the car. He claimed that his anointing was too big to enter a mini. Something is wrong with that. Is your anointing bigger than Jesus’ anointing? Jesus was born in a barn among sheep.

The point is this, we think too highly of ourselves. And so we do not do what God wants us to do, to get the breakthroughs that God wants us to get. There is no work that is beneath you; quit thinking that way. If that is what you have to do, then do it and God will take all the glory in your promotion because of your faithfulness in little. What I am saying is, start from where you are and watch God multiply you. That is how God does His things.

You and I need to completely rely on God. Zech.4:6 “Then he said to me, “This is what the Lord says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies”. The reason a lot of people are facing intense pressure is because they have not been relying on God when God says rely on Me! Zerubbabel was the governor of Judah but he had a plumb line in his hand. A plumb line is the bricklayer’s tool used to get angles. Even though Zerubbabel was the governor, he was doing bricklayers work. He humbled himself to work.

And God sent him a message, “it is not by power, it is not by might but by My Spirit says the Lord. This mountain will be moved…” Whatever mountain stands before you, God is saying it will be moved. Be strong and get to work. It is okay to start small; just start from where you are and rely on God.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I declare that I will not act in my power, or my might but only by Your Spirit. I will do the impossible for Your glory, in Jesus Name. Amen!
