Rs + Rs + Rc = AH!

1 Cor.3:6 “I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow” [with emphasis].

Yesterday we highlighted the three glaring components of an abundant harvest from 1 Corinthians 3:6. The first is the seed [I planted]; there can be no harvest without a seed. The second is the soil [in your hearts]; the seed must have good soil. And number three is the right condition [Apollos watered]. So the formula for abundant harvest is this – the Right Seed + the Right Soil + the Right Conditions = Abundant Harvest. So in whatever area you want an abundant harvest [spiritual growth, finances, marital harmony, career, or souls], it is the same formula.

[The Right Seed + the Right Soil + the Right Conditions] = [Abundant Harvest]. There are two parts to this equation. For the purpose of illustration, we will call them the left side and the right side. The left side [The Right Seed + the Right Soil + the Right Conditions] is our part. And the right side [Abundant Harvest] is God’s part. We cannot do God’s part and God will not do our part.
Guess what? The result of this equation is not necessarily always abundant harvest. It can be devoured harvest; some harvests actually come but they are devoured. It can be an infected harvest, a stolen harvest, a little harvest or it can be no harvest. You will not have a devoured harvest, or an infected harvest, or a stolen harvest, or a little harvest, and yours will not be a case of no harvest. You will have many abundant harvests, in Jesus Name.

But you can trust that this formula will always produce an abundant harvest because the person that put up this ordinance is God, your Father. God knows that many of us may struggle with that so another way to be sure that God is going to preserve this formula is what God has put in His Word and it is called, a Tithe. God says, “if you pay your tithe, I [God] will rebuke the devourer for your sake. I will open the windows of heaven and pour out so many blessings you will not have enough room to contain. And your trees will not cast their fruits before time”. Note that the tithe is not the seed but it ensures that the formula works.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, teach me to work the ordinances of heaven as it flows from my Father’s heart even as I align with His Word and instructions, in Jesus Name. Amen!
