Know His Voice

Rich Works
They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life’ 1 Tim 6:18-19.
The good news and bad news is that you are rich. Good news because God wants you to be rich for your enjoyment and all that He wants you to do. Bad news because being rich is one of the greatest challenges you will face spiritually. The greatest contender for your heart with God is money – the acquisition, retention, and multiplication of money. Money challenges our priorities because it gives us options. Time Margin
‘For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to tear and a time to mend. A time to be quiet and a time to speak’ Ecc.3:1 &7.
How do you create margin with time? Everybody has twenty-four hours but not everybody has the same level of energy at every time in a day. Creating Margin

You give more by creating margin and the way to create margin is to earn more and spend less. We gave an illustration using the scale some days ago. Using that same illustration, imagine on scale one to ten, your earning and spending is at level five. Caution! How you respond determines how heaven responds. How that man, Scripture describes him as the ‘rich fool’ responded determined how God responded. “But God said to him, ‘You fool! Every time you get an increase or a breakthrough and you are wondering what to do with it, be sure heaven is also wondering what you would do with it. That is the prosperity test. If at the end of this month, God gives you your annual income along with your regular monthly take home pay, what will you do with it? Calculate it and think!

A colleague of mine said that in Nigerian churches there is too much warfare. They are constantly praying against the devil. Everything is fall down and die. Everything cannot be falling down and dying. If every thing is to fall down and die, then all of us will not be here today. While there is nothing necessarily wrong with praying violently, but there is an abuse of it. My colleague was insisting that in the United Kingdom, they never had to pray like that.
