Job 38:19-20 “Where does light come from, and where does darkness go? Can you take each to its home? Do you know how to get there?”
In today’s scripture reference, we see God asking Job a sarcastic question. The truth is that only God knows where light comes from and where darkness goes. Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV) “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

Persistent Promise
Psalm 89:1-2 (NRSV) “I will sing of your steadfast love, O Lord, forever; with my mouth I will proclaim your faithfulness to all generations. I declare that your steadfast love is established forever; your faithfulness is as firm as the heavens.”

Step Back

In order to cheer up when change looks distant, you must stop and Appreciate The Master’s Work, and sometimes that means celebrating the little things. A woman practically dragged her husband to my office because she was convinced, he needed counselling. Appreciate His Work
Ps. 40:5 “O Lord my God, You have done many miracles for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. If I tried to recite all Your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.”
To cheer up when change looks distant, you must stop and Appreciate The Master’s Work. Sometimes, it feels like nothing is changing in our lives. However, when you cannot see any change in your life or see what God is doing, it is because you have not really stopped to look. That is the truth! Your path is unique, you have to accept it because it is God’s unique process for you. “Why should the man always get the biggest piece of meat in the house?”, a lady asked. Psalm 139:14 (VOICE) “I will offer You my grateful heart, for I am Your unique creation, filled with wonder and awe. You have approached even the smallest details with excellence; Your works are wonderful; I carry this knowledge deep within my soul.”
I discovered very early in life that life is not a straight line. I also discovered that life is an inconsistent rhythm.
