Needless Worrying

Isa.40:28 “Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. 29 He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.”

Action Sequence

Gen.22:16-17 “This is what the Lord says: Because you have obeyed me and have not withheld even your son, your only son, I swear by my own name that I will certainly bless you. I will multiply your descendants beyond number, like the stars in the sky…”

 

If you are going to walk with God, you need to understand this. God will ask you to do things sometimes that will not make sense. All in a bid to make you feel what He is feeling. In Sync

Judg.7:19-22 “…Suddenly, they blew the rams’ horns and broke their clay jars …and they all shouted, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” …all the Midianites rushed around in a panic …the Lord caused the warriors in the camp to fight against each other with their swords.”

The Difference I

Mark 10:47-48When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was nearby, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” “Be quiet!” many of the people yelled at him. But he only shouted louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” (emphasis added).

Here & Near

Ps.145:18-19 (KJV) “The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.”

Face It

Luke 11:10 (TPT) “Every persistent person will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he needs. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door.

We see in this passage of scripture how Jesus defines faith. Jesus defines faith as knocking on a door and staying there until the door opens. In fact, it is a lack of faith to knock on a door and back off. Read the rest of this entry
