All Things Beautiful

‘Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end’ Ecc.3:11

Only the Potter can see what He is working out in you from beginning to end. Can the potter make a piece of pottery without the wheel? Not at all. Even if the wheel just seems to be going in cycles, the Potter needs it to make the beautiful you that He has conceived in His mind. Again I urge you to stay on the Potter’s wheel. When the challenges of life come, stay in the Maker’s hands because He is crafting something beautiful with your life. It is not about the comfort of life; it is not about the Read the rest of this entry

Time To Rejoice

The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’ Luke 18:4-5.

The fourth thing we learn from Luke 18:1-8 is the Judge has the final say. For some of us we have been laboring under a heavy yoke of certain pronouncements that were made over us. The Good News for you today is that the Judge has the final say over your life. Your colleague does not have the final say. Your boss does not have the final say. Even your parents do not have the final say. Jesus has the final say. The Father has the final say. So what is it you have been told will never happen? Read the rest of this entry

Trusting Love

‘I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.’ Ps.27:13 [KJV].

I would have given up or even fainted except I believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. I am here to say to you today that no matter how tough it is for you right now, you are going to see the goodness of the Lord, not only in heaven but also in the land of the living. And if you are seeing the goodness of the Lord already, then guess what, you are going to see another level of the goodness of the Lord. The preacher, Rick Warren, puts it this way, “since I know God loves me totally and wants what’s best for me I don’t have to understand every move He makes in my life”. It is when you have totally accepted that God loves you and that He wants the best for you that you will realize you don’t have to understand every move He makes. I am sure you agree that there are some certain things in life that just don’t make sense really? But since I know that God loves me totally and I have accepted the love of God, then I can be at peace amidst storms. If you are reading this today and you have not embraced or totally accepted the love of God, then let that be your starting point. When you accept that God loves you totally and God has got your back completely, guess what-even though you don’t understand everything, you will trust Him. Read the rest of this entry

Very Good!

And God saw everything that He had made, and behold it was very good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it completely. And there was the evening and there was the morning, a sixth day’ Gen.1:31 [AMP]

When reading the first chapter in Genesis, you’d observe that God created the heavens, the firmament, the stars, the sun, the moon, the earth, the vegetation, and all the animals. He even created a special garden before He made man. This simply points to the fact that God always goes ahead of us to prepare a place for us. And sometimes the place He prepares for us is in the presence of our enemies. While God is preparing a Read the rest of this entry

Visible Faith

‘Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man. “My child, your sins are forgiven”’ Mark 2:5

In Mark 2:1-12, there were four men who had a friend that was paralyzed and they came to Jesus but Jesus’ house was full. There was no room to walk into Jesus’ house. They could have said ‘perhaps it is not yet God’s time for God to heal our friend. We will wait for when Jesus is doing another healing service and come early so that we can be on the front row’. They did not do that. Instead, as the door was not accessible Read the rest of this entry

Fresh Start II

‘Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives’ Ps.90: 14.

As the day breaks for some of us, our fresh start would be the next level of entrepreneurship. But it is important for you to know that it does not get easier when you run your own business. I encounter a lot of people who are tired of working under someone and want to start their own business. If that is your only motivation, then you might just be looking for another job very quickly. You need to Read the rest of this entry

The Answer

‘When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?” “I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me’ John 5:6-7.

What answer are you giving to the question that God has placed before you today? This story of the man by the pool [John 5:1-9] fascinates me and it is new to me every time I read it. What question exactly was the man answering? Jesus did not ask him ‘can you be made whole?’ Yet his reply was ‘the reason I can’t be made whole is because I have a formula for being whole. And Jesus in case you don’t Read the rest of this entry

Settled

You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine’ Ps.4:7

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of GodMatt.5:9 [NIV]. The grace that is able to save you is able to change you. If you are experiencing a grace that is saving you but is not changing you that grace is suspect. Mostly people focus on getting all you can, canning all you get, and siting on the can. For them the person who successfully does that is blessed. But Jesus disputes this because ‘blessed are the poor in spirit for Read the rest of this entry

One Response

‘I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together’ Ps.34:1-3 [KJV]

I say to people, you don’t know why I love Jesus the way I love Jesus. You don’t know what He delivered me from. If you knew, you would join me and praise God. There is truly only one response when you are about to go through the night. You know that blessed are they that mourn for they will be comforted. You know that even though you are about to go through the night, the day is coming. Maybe they have told you to resign your job or you have lost a business. You know you are about to go though this night but guess Read the rest of this entry
