Key Component I

Heb.12:7 [NIV] “Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?”

Face The Fear II

Isa. 8:13 “Make the Lord of Heaven’s Armies holy in your life. He is the one you should fear. He is the one who should make you tremble.”

 

Take a moment and think of a time you acted courageously; no act of courage is too little. Now that you have brought that experience to fore, did you feel fear?

Character

Prov. 11:5 (MSG) “Moral character makes for smooth traveling; an evil life is a hard life. Good character is the best insurance; crooks get trapped in their sinful lust.”

 

An anonymous quote defines character as, “…who you are when no one is watching.” Examples of character would be, a woman that overcomes shyness to testify before God’s people that,

Promise Keeper

Joshua 1: 2 “Moses my servant is dead. Therefore, the time has come for you to lead these people, the Israelites, across the Jordan River into the land I am giving them. 3 I promise you what I promised Moses: ‘Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you

 

God wants you to Step up in leadership. You may not be leading any one currently but you have the potential of leading millions of people. And God is saying to you and I, like He said to Joshua, “Arise! Get up and Step up!” Read the rest of this entry
