Spiritual Leprosy

Anyone who wants to be my disciple must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves meJohn 12:26.

Please read Luke 17:11-18. As he entered a village there, ten lepers stood at a distance’ Luke 17:12.There is just so much in this passage of Scripture. The Bible records that the lepers stood at a distance from Jesus because they were leapers. And they shouted because they were leapers. Every spiritual leprosy in your life, I am praying that it will be cleansed and healed today in Jesus name. Everything that keeps you at a distance from Jesus, everything that makes you say afar off from Jesus, everything that Read the rest of this entry

No Falsehood

As he entered a village there, ten lepers stood at a distance, crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” Luke17:12-13.

Please read Luke 17:11-18. It is an amazing story. Sometimes we read this kind of stories and we say in our heart “what an ungrateful bunch!” “How can anyone treat Jesus like that?” “Don’t they have home training, couldn’t they just have gone back to say thank you to Jesus?” But we need to check our lives, how grateful are we ourselves? The ten lepers saw Jesus coming and they said “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”. That was the beginning of their turning point. I am here to tell you that you are only a Read the rest of this entry

Understanding Favour

For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightlyPs.84:11 KJV

You need to celebrate favour because envy insulates you from God’s favour. Envy builds a shield around you so even if your time for favour comes, guess what happens, the shield of envy repels it. That will not be your portion in Jesus Name. You need to rid your heart totally of envy. There is nothing anybody has that I am envious of – nothing. And I do that deliberately because if I really need anything, God says He will not withhold anything good from them that fear Read the rest of this entry

Stay With God

“O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand.’ Jer.18:6.

Today, we will continue in the discourse about the signs of hardness of heart. You know your heart is hard when your praise and worship is no longer by the tenderness of your heart towards God but rather it is about the adoration of men as you pretend to worship God. A typical example would be waiting till midnight when you know the neighborhood is quiet not to be with God but to sing loud enough for everyone to hear you and know that you are spiritual. It is when we would never have Read the rest of this entry

Responsibility & Loyalty

‘When she told the man of God what had happened, he said to her, “Now sell the olive oil and pay your debts, and you and your sons can live on what is left over’ 2 Kings 4:7

Principle #1 is the principle of responsibility. God said to the woman, the first thing you do is pay your debt then live on the rest. The strange thing about a lot of us is that we don’t mind owing people and we don’t have a sense of responsibility towards them. How do you expect that you would prosper? It doesn’t work like that. My wife and I were running a business and we brought in these equipment for the business that were not cheap at all. There was one of them we were not using at Read the rest of this entry

Get Busy!

‘Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground’ Gen.1:28

God said to Adam and Eve ‘be fruitful and multiply’. In other words, get busy! How can you be fruitful? Get busy! Sadly Adam and Eve did not act on that instruction on time. I am sure you are wondering how I know. Well, they did not get busy until Genesis chapter four. Perhaps if they had acted immediately instead of hanging around the tree talking to the serpent, a whole lot of things would have been different today – just perhaps. The key thing is get busy. I say to people Read the rest of this entry

A Plan

You’re the one I was looking for!
I came out to find you, and here you are!’ Prov.7:15

If a man is deceived it is largely based on seduction. When he has been seduced then he can be deceived. The problem with flirting and seduction is that it always starts innocently. Some men actually tell their wives that they have nothing to do with other women but they just like flirting with them. You have to stop it. Flirting Read the rest of this entry

Deliberate Leading

“You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.” Gen.3:4-5.

Everyone that will fulfill his or her destiny in God and the greatness that God has for him/her must overcome the spirit of seduction. Please note that today’s devotional has an 18PG rating. The dictionary defines seduction as the process of deliberately enticing a person in order to lead him/her astray sexually. Seduction is a process and the process of seduction starts with flirting. Flirting is any act that stimulates or is intended to Read the rest of this entry

Check Your Readiness I

‘For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. [Absolute and total submission – my addition]. As the church submits to Christ, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything.’ Eph.5:22 &24

Ladies let’s check your readiness.  ‘For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. [Absolute and total submission – my addition] For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of His body, the church. As the church submits to Christ, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything.’ Eph.5:22-24. So again I ask, are you ready for that kind of submission? A lady was Read the rest of this entry

Fig Tree Praise

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines;
even though the olive crop fails,
and the fields lie empty and barren… yet I will rejoice in the Lord!
I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!Hab.3:17-18

Worry and gratitude really cannot cohabit. You cannot be worried and be grateful at the same time. The children of Israel totally gave themselves to worrying that it was almost impossible to sustain their gratitude to God. When they met opposition on their way to the Promised Land, a lot of the time they grumbled and complained. And this made God frustrated with them. God was saying and is saying to you and I today, “don’t you understand who I Am? Don’t you understand that I cannot take you from Egypt and allow you Read the rest of this entry
