Discern The Prey
‘Love wisdom like a sister; make insight a beloved member of your family. Let them protect you from an affair with an immoral woman, from listening to the flattery of a promiscuous woman’ Prov.7:4-5.
When it comes to one person leading another person to sexual sin, women are mostly deceived and men are mostly seduced. It is possible to seduce a woman and to deceive a man but women are mostly deceived and men are mostly seduced. ‘And it was not Adam who was deceived by satan. The woman was deceived, and sin was the result’ 1Tim.2:14. It was Eve and not Adam who was deceived. Why didn’t the serpent speak to Read the rest of this entry
The Key Of Communication I
‘It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat or even touch it; if you do, you will die’ Gen.3:3
The third key to having a great relationship whether married or single is the key of communication. All these keys are from Adam and Eve’s relationship. Adam failed on two grounds. Firstly, Adam failed to communicate accurately with Eve. And that is almost always a problem in our homes. The way men communicate is different from the way women communicate. A man will just summarize and give you bullet points and go on with his Read the rest of this entry
The Key Of Acceptance II
‘“At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man’ Gen.2:23.
The grass is not greener on the other side; the grass is greener where it is watered. So water your own grass and it would be green. A lady I really used to respect sat before me with her husband and I was really put off by the way she was talking to her husband. In my heart I wondered why she would ever talk to her husband like that. As if that was not bad enough, right there in the presence of her husband she said, ‘if only my husband can Read the rest of this entry
The Key Of Acceptance I
‘“At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man’ Gen.2:23
The second key to having a great relationship whether married or single is the key of acceptance. Adam had never seen a woman before. Eve was the first woman he set his eyes on, yet Adam saw Eve and he said ‘at last – bone of my bone’. Meaning Adam accepted Eve totally. For some people, God has brought them Eve but their heart is sent on sampling other options. We have to learn to accept the people that God has put in our lives. Read the rest of this entry
The Key Of Being
‘He gave names to all the livestock, all the birds of the sky, and all the wild animals. But still there was no helper just right for him’ Gen.2:20
Over the next few days we will be discussing three keys to having a great relationship. The first key to having a great relationship whether married or single is the key of being. Adam was not busy going from one singles event to another trying to look good and not even listening to the speaker. Many singles these days are what I call paranoid. They go from one place to the other just trying to make themselves available. And if the women Read the rest of this entry
By Force
‘And from the time John the Baptist began preaching until now, the Kingdom of Heaven has been forcefully advancing, and violent people are attacking it’ Matt.11:12
Relationship is very powerful in intercession. The person that is speaking for you; does he/she have a voice in heaven? Can he/she beckon on heaven and heaven will respond? Do you have a voice in heaven because you are your greatest intercessor? If you do not have a voice in heaven, today your voice will be registered in the Name of Jesus. Mary knew that even though His time had not come, He is the controller of time. So she Read the rest of this entry
The Set Time!
‘Dear woman, that’s not our problem, Jesus replied. My time has not yet come’ John 2:4
The fourth thing you need to know when the day breaks is that it means the set time has come. Let’s assume you wake up at 6am and you set your alarm clock accordingly. When you hear the alarm go off, it means it is daybreak and the set time has come. In the days of old when there were no alarm clocks, the roosters were responsible for announcing daybreak. And as children, when we play games, the cockcrow was the signal for Read the rest of this entry
Undeniable Change
‘I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done’ Phil.3:7.
‘I don’t know whether he is a sinner,” the man replied. “But I know this: I was blind, and now I can see!’ John 9:25. If you check with anyone who is consistently walking with God, one thing we all have in common is that there has been great change since we met the person of Jesus. Claiming you are saved and refusing to change is making yourself a ridicule to the Kingdom of God. You are making a mess of everything God stands for. If you want to be cold be cold. If you want to be hot be hot. If you are lukewarm you are standing the Read the rest of this entry
Make God Happy
‘So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image’ 2 Cor.3:18.
While praying, I often say thank you to the Lord for choosing me because I realize that in truth I could never have chosen Him. You too must understand that Jesus found you first and it was He who refused to let go. You can love Him because He first loved you. It is with this same confidence that we also as Matthew did arrange for the people in our lives to meet with Jesus knowing that He already has His eyes on them. Found people find people! Mathew arranged a dinner party. Think about it, it was a usual thing for his friends to Read the rest of this entry
Attracting Jesus
‘Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” Matt.9:13
‘Later, Matthew invited Jesus and his disciples to his home as dinner guests, along with many tax collectors and other disreputable sinners. But when the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with such scum?” When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do’ Matt.9:10-12. People are quick to point accusing fingers at people in church when they see them step out of line. But guess what, it is because there are a lot of sick people in the church. They may come in Read the rest of this entry
