The Difference

‘And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In face, together with Christ we are heirs to God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering’ Rom.8:17.

There are people out there whose struggle is not with hearing God’s counsel but it is with breaking away from the way things have been done all their life. For some, the struggle is that they have been a certain kind of person all their lives. There is good news for you today; Jesus can make the difference in your life. Think about the things God wants to do in your life, think about all that God wants to do with you. Then truthfully answer this question; Read the rest of this entry

Genuine Repentance

‘Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked way, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land’ 2 Chro.7:14

The church is God’s agent for change in the society. We are the catalyst. Therefore the key to the change that we desire in our country lies in out hands. Jesus puts is this way, ‘who ever must lead amongst you must first be the servant’. Our job is to serve our country by standing the gap and going before God. The church in Nigeria must humble themselves and pray and seek God’s face and turn from their wicked way. God has promised to hear from Read the rest of this entry

New Direction!

‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts’ Isa.55:9 [KJV].

Today I will be sharing an experience with you. I trust that God will use this experience to teach, shape, mold, and humble you as He did me. I trust that this experience will help you understand and appreciate the sovereignty of God even more in Jesus Name. ‘For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts’ Read the rest of this entry

With God And With Men II

‘Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body’ 1 Cor.6:19-20.

God says to us clearly that we do not belong to ourselves anymore. You have a stamp on you that reads, ‘property of the Most High God’. Therefore, you cannot be single and giving or receiving oral sex. You are sinning! You need to repent and ask Jesus to cleanse you. You have no business with oral sex if you are single because you are defiling yourself regardless of whether you are a biological virgin or not. Virginity is a symbol of purity by the time you begin to engage in oral sex, it is defilement. You see when it comes to Read the rest of this entry

God’s Truth II

So, God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created themGen.1:27

You need to understand the truth in the Word of God. The Word of God will set you and your children to the third and fourth generation free! You do not even need to be a theologian; you can discern these things just by studying the anatomy of the human body. God’s plan from the beginning and till date is a male and female pair. I once got into a conversation with a family friend of ours who is a very intelligent medical doctor. I cannot remember how we got to the topic of homosexuals but her opinion was that Read the rest of this entry

Voice Of Logic

‘Aren’t the rivers of Damascus, the Abana and the Pharpar, better than any of the rivers of Israel? Why shouldn’t I wash in them and be healed?” So Naaman turned and went away in a rage’ 2 kings 5:12

The third voice that Naaman experienced was the voice of logic – the voice of reason. In Naaman’s logical mind, there were rivers in Damascus that were far better than the rivers in Israel. If all he required was to be dipped and become clean then why was it necessary to come all the way to Israel? It did not make any sense to him. Many times God’s instruction does not align with your thinking. Naaman had a fair idea of how the healing process would play out. He expected that the Read the rest of this entry

He Sees, He Knows, & He Rewards

‘But as for you, be strong and courageous, for your work will be rewarded’ 2 Chr.15:7

After the ark returned to the Jews, about seventy men decided they wanted to see what was inside it. So they opened it and God killed all seventy of them. So the ark was relegated through the time of Samuel and Saul until David’s time. True to how God described him ‘a man after My heart’. David said ‘how can the ark of God be relegated’. So he decided to bring the ark of God to the city of David. So they put the ark on a cart. Meanwhile the place they relegated the ark to was the house of Abinadab, the father of Uzzah. While the ark was Read the rest of this entry

God’s Way

But some of the Pharisees among the crowd said, “Teacher, rebuke your followers for saying things like that!’ Luke 19:39

A lot of us have our own mindsets on how we want things done but God also has His own plans on how things will be done. ‘We can make our own plans, but the Lord gives the right answer’ Prov.16:1. That is why as humans it is always a constant struggle between doing your will and following God’s will, constantly questioning if it is your way or God’s way. The purpose of Easter is to show us that Read the rest of this entry

Make Jesus Your Centerpiece

‘Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness’ Col 2:7.

The third step to growing personal roots is to make Jesus the center of your life. Jesus is known as the root of David. In other words without Jesus, David is nothing. Jesus should be the root of your life; otherwise, without Jesus you are nothing. Examine your life; if you take away Jesus can you still function? Some Read the rest of this entry

Born of God

‘Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight’ Rom.4:7.

Sin is a product of disobedience to God and His commandments. At the root of every sin is disobedience. Man’s main issue till date is disobedience which of course amounts to sin. Disobedience is a major issue with God. Just as the greatest problem of man is disobedience, the greatest solution is obedience. ‘Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But Read the rest of this entry
