His Flow

Mark 8:26 “And He sent him away to his house, telling [him], Do not [even] enter the village or tell anyone there.” (AMPC)

For some of us, Bethsaida represents a place where people will not believe in you. Sometimes these people are your relatives or your childhood friends. Bethsaida represents a place where you are commonized and you cannot achieve your potential. Read the rest of this entry

Sustainer

Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the deep, stormy sea, you can count on me to be there with you. When you pass through raging rivers, you will not drown. When you walk through persecution like fiery flames, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you” (TPT)

What an assurance! Mark 8:25Jesus put his hands over the man’s eyes a second time and made him look up. The man opened his eyes wide and he could see everything perfectly. His eyesight was completely restored!” (TPT). Read the rest of this entry

No Doubt

Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (NKJV)

We are confident in this very fact that God that began a good work in you will bring it to perfection in the Name of Jesus. The Message Translation of Philippians 1:6 reads, “There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears” (emphasis added). Great Physician

Mark 8:25 “Then Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes again, and his eyes were opened. His sight was completely restored, and he could see everything clearly.” (emphasis added)

This is the first time in the history of Jesus’ life and ministry that He will have to heal someone, anyone, twice. Everyone that Jesus prayed for up until this time had received immediate healing. This was the first time that Jesus prayed for someone, and the person was not healed instantly. Read the rest of this entry

All In!

Mark 8:23So Jesus guided the man out of the village, away from the crowd; and He spat on the man’s eyes and touched them.” Jesus: What do you see? (Voice)

Tangible

Hebrews 11:6 “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”

When you come to God, you have to believe that God is, God exists. God is a Spirit, you cannot see Him, but God exists. So, when you come to God, you have to believe that He is, and He rewards those that seek Him. Read the rest of this entry

Faith & Light

Heb.11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (NIV)

Beginning today, and over the next couple of days, we trust that God Himself will lay His hands upon us and give us the second touch in the Name of Jesus. The story is told of a little boy named Johnny who likes to exaggerate situations. Read the rest of this entry

Two Things

2 Cor. 8:7 “Since you excel in so many ways—in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us—I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving.”

How can my life give thanks to God? By Singing From My Heart, by Thanking God In Prayer, by Telling Others The Good News. Fourthly, by Giving An Offering Back To God. Thanks and giving go together, that is why it is called thanksgiving. Read the rest of this entry

Tell It!

Luke 2:17-18 “After seeing him, the shepherds told everyone what had happened and what the angel had said to them about this child. All who heard the shepherds’ story were astonished.”

The Bible says, give thanks by telling the world, not by keeping it to yourself. I had a coursemate in university, neat, always tucking in. But in retrospect, I realized that whenever we are abusing lecturers or talking about ‘bad’ things, he would not say anything. Read the rest of this entry
