Perception

But Caleb tried to quiet the people as they stood before Moses. “Let’s go at once to take the land,” he said. “We can certainly conquer it!” But the other men… disagreed. “We can’t go up against them! They are stronger than we are!” Num.13:30-31

Who you know is more important than what you know. Who knows you is more important than who you know. What they think about you is more important than who knows you. When your name [your business name] is mentioned, what your customers think about you is everything because it influences their buying decision. The customer’s perception is the customer’s reality. Whether they are right or Read the rest of this entry

Knowing

“And the man said to me, “Daniel, you are very precious to God, so listen carefully to what I have to say to you. Stand up, for I have been sent to you”…” Dan.10:11

Always assume that the enemy is intelligent and competent. In your business, always assume that the competitor is intelligent and competent. At your office, always assume that the person vying for that same position is intelligent and competent. As Christians, we have an arch-enemy of our souls, satan. Never ever underestimate satan. I know we are victorious in Christ. I know we are seated in the High Read the rest of this entry

Be Sensitive

So approximately 3,000 warriors were sent, but they were soundly defeated… Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid or discouraged. Take all your fighting men and attack Ai, for I have given you the king of Ai, his people, his town, and his land” Josh.7:4 & 8:1

There is intelligence in the spirit realm and you need to tap into it with the help of the Holy Spirit. For instance, Job was minding his own business and there were discussions going on in heaven about Job; but he was clueless. Assuming Job could tap into heaven and understand what was going on, perhaps he could have responded better. Perhaps he could have pleaded his case with God. The Advantage

“Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?” Luke 5:22 [NIV]

Great military leaders are consistently gathering and analyzing information; seeking the insights that will give them an advantage. How can you run a business and not even have the vital facts, statistics and information about it? Something is wrong with that. It is your duty to gather information because you are the general of your life. God shows us the power of intelligence in His dealings with Israel. God has Read the rest of this entry

Intelligence

“The wise are mightier than the strong, and those with knowledge grow stronger and stronger. So don’t go to war without wise guidance; victory depends on having many advisers” Prov.24:5-6

Victory depends on having quality intelligence. Your opposition may be strong but you must be wise because the wise is mightier than the strong. Goliath was strong but David was wise. Wisdom will always floor strength any day. God wants us to gather intelligence. In your marriage, in your business, in your personal life, even spiritually, do not go to war without gathering quality intelligence. Do not launch without seeking counsel, weighing it, and gathering quality intelligence. Why? Because the scripture tells us that victory depends on it. You are going to be victorious, in Jesus Read the rest of this entry

Advantage vs. Victory

“In the same way, I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born.” The Lord says this: “I promise that if I cause you the pain of birth, I will not stop you from having your new nation.” Your God said this” Isa.66:9 [ERV]

The Principle of Maneuver can give you an advantage; it puts your opponent at the disadvantage. While the principle of maneuver can give you an advantage, never forget that an advantage is not victory. You can maneuver and get an advantage but never forget that an advantage is not victory. Every chess player understands this. Taking your opponents queen will give you an advantage. But most people who take the opponents queen early, usually lose because of the false sense that you are in charge. Meanwhile, the other player knows he or she has to fight to win. Admit and Maneuver

There are some maneuvers you make and seeds you sow in the spirit that rings on generationally; so be flexible. Be open and one of the keys to being open is, you must admit that you can be wrong. I thought… but I was wrong. Always be open to the possibility that you may be wrong. It will save your life and save you from praying unnecessary prayers. Read Joshua 7 & 8.

Napoleon the Great made the mistake of not being open to the possibility of being wrong. He was a master of offense Read the rest of this entry

Seed Maneuvers

…these Levites—the ones who collect the tithe—paid a tithe to Melchizedek when their ancestor Abraham paid a tithe to him. For although Levi wasn’t born yet, the seed from which he came was in Abraham’s body when Melchizedek collected the tithe from him” Heb.7:9-10

There are seeds you will sow that will shape not only your life but also the lives of your children. There are some covenant maneuvers in the spirit that speaks for generations to come. It seems as though certain people are just prospering at everything they do. What you do not know is that their parents have “hit the ground” on their behalf. A lot of people are upset with me and some even accuse me of not knowing how to pray. My response is, I may not know how to pray but my grandmother prayed for me, and my mother is praying for me. Perhaps because I was a Read the rest of this entry

The Twist

“One day news came to David that the Philistines were at Keilah stealing grain from the threshing floors. David asked the Lord, “Should I go and attack them?” “Yes, go and save Keilah,” the Lord told him” 1 Sam.23:1-2

David is a master of maneuver. Please read the story in 1 Samuel 23, it is an amazing read. David’s heart was for his people Israel even though he himself was on the run from Saul. The Jewish city, Keilah, was being attacked by the Philistines. So David asked for permission to help them. As soon as he got clearance from God, David engaged his six hundred men.

But David’s men said, “We’re afraid even here in Judah. We certainly don’t want to go to Keilah to fight the whole Philistine army!” So David asked the Lord again, and again the Lord replied, “Go down to Keilah, for I will help you conquer the Philistines.” 1 Sam.23:3-4. So David went and delivered the city from the hands of the Philistines. Of Read the rest of this entry

Maneuver

Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life” John 3:6

George Washington, one of the ex-presidents of the United States of America, was the one that led the campaign that broke the back of the British hold on America. It was successful because he deployed the Principle of Maneuver. Up until this time, he had lost all his battles. George Washington was trained in continental warfare. Continental warfare has a lot to do with structure and order. He approached the battle against the British forces using his Read the rest of this entry
