“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men” Prov. 22:29 [KJV, emphasis added]

God wants you to Stand Tall in your industry because you are representing the Kingdom of God in that industry. It is so important for us to set our minds on this and keep it set. So I will teach you two keys to help you. The two keys to Standing Tall in your industry; the first is diligence and the second is excellence. You will Stand Tall, not before dwarfs but before Giants but you have to be diligent. Secondly, you have to execute with excellence. It is not enough to be diligent. You have to be excellent. Excellence is not perfection but you have to be excellent.

If you are diligent and you are not excellent you will produce crap. For example, students that cannot construct a correct sentence. If you examine the school teacher, you will find that the teacher cannot speak English correctly but is diligently teaching the children crap. Because you cannot give what you do not have. You cannot be diligently churning out mediocrity. Whatever industry you are, just ensure that when your name is mentioned it is synonymous with excellence. And that will be your portion in Jesus Name. “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm” Dan.6:3 [emphasis added]. You will be preferred because an excellent spirit will be upon you in Jesus Name. Excellence is a spirit and you can catch it. So Stand Tall in your industry.

Secondly, Stand Tall in your country. You are the light of your country. The absence of light is darkness. What does that mean? God wants you to go and solve the problem. Let your light displace the darkness. This is our outstanding order. He that seeks to save his life will lose it, but he that loses his life for the sake of the Kingdom, Jesus says, will find it. Self-preservation is one of the greatest problems of Christians. Light does not exist for it self. Light exists for others to see. It is clear to me that God wants to use you and I to solve the problems in our country. I believe this is also true for every church. Say out loud to God, “look no further Father, here I am. You do not save by the multitude Lord, use me”.

Prayer: Lord, here I am. Please use me. My stand will not be occupied by another. I will be the light in my industry and my country and Your Name alone will be glorified, in Jesus Name.
