Activate & Benefit

Gen.22:¹⁷ “I will certainly bless you. I will multiply your descendants beyond number, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will conquer the cities of their enemies.”

Jesus became a curse so that we can be engrafted into the blessings of Abraham. However, to have access to something is one thing, to activate that thing is another matter. There are many of Abraham’s children that are spiritually depressed. Even in the nation of Israel, there are a lot of people that are not saved. Jesus is telling us that it is possible to have access to something and not to use it or benefit from it.

The first part of this three-fold blessing is the Blessing of Productivity. Isaac said to Jacob and I am saying to you, you will be productive in Jesus Name. Gen.27:²⁸ “…may God always give you abundant harvests of grain and bountiful new wine” [emphasis added]. Isaac was speaking from experience and what he was saying in essence is, “As a carrier of the blessing, when there was famine in the land, I reaped in abundance. So my son, you too will walk in this.” The economy of the world may go through all sorts of pits and peaks but you will reap in abundance because you carry this blessing.

The second part of this three-fold blessing is Influence. Gen.27:²⁹ “…may many nations become your servants, and may they bow down to you…” [emphasis added]. You will lend to nations. The third part of the three-fold blessing is about Spiritual Protection. Gen.27:²⁹ “…All who curse you will be cursed, and all who bless you will be blessed.” If you are wealthy and influential and you do not have spiritual protection then you will be in trouble. The truth is the world is a wicked place. There are people that want you dead because they do not like your face. The world is a wicked place and to think otherwise will be naïve.

The point is, you cannot just go through life without spiritual protection. You need to activate this blessing in your life. Jesus came so that we can have spiritual covering, so why do you want to leave your life to chance? The enemy wants you to think that if you leave evil alone, evil will leave you alone. Do not be deceived!

Prayer: Father, in Jesus Name, all who curse me will be cursed and all who bless me will be blessed. My harvest will be abundant and nations will serve me, in Jesus Name. Amen!
