Fight Back

Heb.4:2 “Those people in the wilderness heard God’s good news, just as we have heard it, but the message they heard didn’t do them any good since it wasn’t combined with faith. [Voice]

The farmer’s work does not stop when he plants, in actual sense that is just the beginning. The second thing the farmer needs to do to provide the right condition for the seed, is to protect it against pests, animals, and infections. Pay close attention because this is really important. You need to guard your seed! The reality is that when the farmer plants, he actually enters a phase of warfare because from planting to harvesting is battle.

There are some creatures that just wait for you to plant and then they uproot the seeds and eat them. So you need to barricade your farm. You should expect a miracle after sowing in the right soil, even as you continually create the right conditions for your seed. You protect your seed by fighting the good fight of faith. Pushing back doubts, getting rid of any form of anxiety and doubt. Fight back everything that is speaking contrary to the harvest you want to see. “Without faith it is impossible to please God”. Use the Word of God to fight back; fight for your seed in the ground. As the seed grows, you will still need to fight. For some pregnancies, it is a battle from conception to delivery. That is just how it is; be prepared!

When you sow a seed, you have to be patient because depending on the harvest God wants to bring, different seeds have different gestation periods. Corn sprouts very quickly and can be harvested in about three weeks. However, corn is not as valuable as cocoa. Cocoa takes about three to five years to produce. But once you start harvesting cocoa, you can keep harvesting for the next twenty-five years. Believe me! There are certain seeds that I have sown that I am still harvesting today and I know where it is coming from.

When I first read in the Bible, “seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you”, I made up my mind that I will believe God’s Word and follow it. And I placed a demand on all things to be added unto me. And guess what? God has not failed and He will never fail.
