Ps.103:¹(AMPC) “Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! ² Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits”

When we deploy the power of “we”, the first thing we get is help. The second thing is we get Warmth. Eccl.4:¹¹ “Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone?” I am not talking about physical warmth alone, but you get intellectual warmth, you get to exchange ideas with others – iron sharpening iron. You get spiritual warmth, people you can put your fires together and get a bigger bonfire. The third benefit of deploying the power of “we” is, Protection and Victory. Eccl.4:¹² “A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer.” [with emphasis].

A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated; that is why the enemy is trying so hard to make sure that you are isolated. But he will fail in Jesus Name. Two can stand back to back and conquer – physical protection, spiritual protection, financial protection, and mental protection. If you do not deploy the power of “we” and you are not in community, you will believe anything. That is how people get sidelined with errors. We have been in fellowship, then someone stood up to prophesy and half of what was said was purely from God, but the other half was purely from flesh. No need to disgrace such people, we help such people sift what is from God and what is flesh. It is only arrogant people that reject wise Godly counsel. For people who do not listen, the part that is not from God will grow louder and louder and the part from God will go quieter and quieter. The person will still be hearing but it will not be from God.

When you are in community you have protection. I am still in the early years of pastoring but in my earlier years of pastoring, in a service the Holy Spirit said to me there were people present that had demon spirits living in them, people that operate demon spirits. So, I stopped the service instructed that all doors be shut. I was younger and fierce, I am still fierce, but I just choose my battles with greater wisdom. I actually felt insulted, how can I be preaching, and demons will be operating? So, I gave the call and fifteen people came out. I was shocked, but we engaged, demons flew out of people, there was deliverance, and Jesus was glorified.

Those people stepped into a service where the power of “we” was active and strong, and they got delivered. – protection and victory. After that, by God’s grace, they came under the covering [protection] of the Most High God and victory through the prayers of God’s people.
