We Can!

Heb.10:23 “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.” (emphasis added).

We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. We are doing what we are doing because we can through Christ who strengthens us. We are feeding the poor because we can through Christ who strengthens us. We are going to ensure that none amongst us is homeless because we can. We are going to solve the accommodation problem in the whole of Lagos, because we can. We are going to make sure nobody goes to bed hungry in our communities because we can. We are going to have a radio station that will actually feed people with life and not death because we can. We are going to build habitats and make sure people have a decent roof over their heads because we can. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

A lot of people are asking and waiting on God for a revival. We grew up singing about the coming revival and praying that God will send a revival. I announce to you today, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, that the revival has come. I pray that God will open our eyes to see as we ought to see. God is faithful to the end. God will take care of you to the end. Most of us worry and the reasons are endless but God is saying to you even now; Isa.46:4 “I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.” 1 Thess.5:24 “God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.” 

Ps.37:25 “Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread.” God can be trusted. Why should I put my life on the line? Simply because God can be trusted. Why should you put your heart and your life in the hands of Jesus – why should you trust Jesus with your life? It is because God can be trusted. The choice is always ours; are we going to trust Jesus or are we going to trust our brains? What will determine our next step, is it going to be faith or is it going to be logic? Are we going to believe that there is a God in heaven that loves us and cares for us? Here is a Word you have to hold onto because things are about to change in your life for good. God says to tell you that it is the dawn of a new day and that He is bringing a new day. For those of us who are tired, congratulations the new has come.
