Established in His Love I

‘So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority’ Col2:10

The first step to growing personal roots is being established in God’s love. Nothing drives away insecurity as fast as being established in the love of God. Being established in His loves comes from knowing and being connected with God. When you are established in God’s love, your identity will be found in His love and not in the shirt you wear or the car you drive. ‘Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.1John3:1 [KJV]. ‘God loves me’; this is a statement you should hold unto and meditate on for an hour daily. ‘He loves me I cannot say why (2x); on Calvary tree, He suffered for me. He loves me I cannot say why’. God wants us to be established in His love. This is the power of the quiet time and that is why the quiet time is non-negotiable. Every Christian must understand the role and know how to engage God in the quiet place. Where you are just basking in God, in His love, and you are just worshiping Him. Calling Him beautiful, telling Him there is no one like Him, and giving Him thanks for who He is. Your quiet time should be about you and the Lord; worshiping, staying with Him, and being rooted in His love. You will notice that what ‘Sister A’ thinks will begin to diminish into oblivion and what ‘Mr. B’ says will start to fade away. You will also notice that the only person that becomes important is Jesus. You and I cannot afford to waste this year wondering what ‘Mr. A’ thinks about this or will ‘Sister B’ approve of that decision. You cannot waste your life. Let people think what they want to think, that is their business, as long as you are not against God. The power to ignore what people say only comes when you are established in God’s love. Suddenly, the most important person becomes God and you are delivered from approval addiction.

Prayer [song]: ‘He loves me I cannot say why (2x); on Calvary tree, He suffered for me. He loves me I cannot say why’. Thank You Jesus for Your tender love.
