One Blow

Nahum 1:9 “Why are you scheming against the Lord? He will destroy you with one blow; he won’t need to strike twice!”

The second aspect of the hand of God is The Slap. When the Word of God is released, the hand of God brings it to pass. Paul speaking to Ananias said in Acts 23:3 But Paul said to him, “God will slap you, you corrupt hypocrite! What kind of judge are you to break the law yourself by ordering me struck like that?” We saw a similar thing happen in 2 Kings 2:23-24. Elisha, a man of God, was being mocked by a group of boys. Elisha released the Word, and two bears came out of the forest and ate the children. People have been arguing, “Is it right for a man of God to command bears to eat those children?” My response is, “I do not know but I do not want to be part of those children. That is all I know? When you get to heaven you can query Elisha. The truth is you should train your children so that they are not part of such badly behaved children. But, as He has said it so shall it be.

Everyone who sits in judgment over you, God will slap them. Everyone who sits in judgment over me, God will slap them. Everyone who sits in judgment over His church, God will slap them in the Name of Jesus. Just watch! Psalm 3:7 Arise, O Lord! Rescue me, my God! Slap all my enemies in the face! Shatter the teeth of the wicked!” Did I not tell you that it is in the Bible? The Yoruba version is sweet. I was reading and relishing this passage of scripture in different versions and praying it. Then I stumbled on the Message version, very sweet. Psalm 3:Up, God! My God, help me! Slap their faces, First this cheek, then the other.” (MSG). And so shall it be for all your enemies in the Name of Jesus. God will slap them on their faces, first on one cheek and then the other cheek in the Name of Jesus.

The third aspect of the hand of God is The Punch (The Blow). Exodus 3:19-20 However, I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not even under a forceful handSo I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I will perform in its midst, and after that he will let you go.” (MEV, emphasis added). Some enemies are stubborn. God will stretch forth His hands and strike all your unrelenting enemies in the Name of Jesus. After that, they will let you go. God will start by saying let my people go but they will not listen. He will slap them, then double it, and some will leave you. But there are still some, very few that will be unrelenting. God will blow them in the Name of Jesus.

Prayer: Father, stretch out Your hand and strike every unrelenting enemy of my destiny until my victory and freedom are complete, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
