Acknowledge III

‘Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture’ Ps.100:3

Secondly, acknowledge that He made us. He made us in His own image, after His likeness. Which means that you can’t be ugly especially because God’s works are so beautiful. The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows forth His handiwork. And they are masterpieces, He made you, you’re a masterpiece. I know that some people are struggling with receiving this. Let me share an experience with you. I was driving one day and God said to me, “There’s no one like you”. I said, “I reject that, its only Jesus that there is no one like”. Be careful when you think God is talking to you. He says, “There’s no one like you”. Amazing! So I thought about it and realized that there really is no one like me. No one has the same fingerprints or iris. Scientists say that there are no two-heart beats that are the same. Imagine the different permutations and arrangements. You should never feel inferior to anyone again in your life! I’m able to stand before anybody on earth and speak because I know God made me and I also know that God made him. My grand mother would say, “How can you be afraid of a human being – flesh and blood”. You are going for an interview or you need to see someone and your heart is racing. Why should be afraid when God made you and God made him.

Thirdly, acknowledge that He owns us – we are His. Is that not inferred if He made us? No! I have a car made by KIA, but the car doesn’t belong to KIA, it belongs to me. If KIA claims it is theirs, I will sue them and collect more cars. The fact that they made the car does not mean it is theirs. We are His! He did not only make us and have a right to us. When Adam sold us to satan, Jesus came and bought us with His Blood. We belong to Him because He paid for us. If a car maker loses control and ownership of his car, he would have to buy it back otherwise the car does not belong to him. Jesus had to die to redeem you and I. Redemption means to buy back. Otherwise we still would have belonged to satan. That is why no matter how good you are, if you don’t know and accept Jesus then you belong to satan. And he can roast you whenever he wants. But guess what, Jesus has paid the price for you, so you can walk out of darkness into the light of Christ today.

Thought: This is a good time to stop and say, “Jesus thank You for saving me, thank You for buying me back”.

Prayer [song]: Thank You Jesus for the grace that You have given us. We could never repay but from my heart I’d like to say that I thank You.
