Get Ready!
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake” Ps.23:3 [KJV]
I discovered that it does not hurt to believe. You need to quiet that thought in your mind that is consistently saying what if you believe and nothing happens then you will look foolish. So what? When such thoughts cross my mind, because they do, my response is so what? Am I not already a fool for Christ? I have no reputation to protect, none! At some point in our church history we had to move from a fully air conditioned facility to a tent, a move many people saw as moving from comfort to discomfort. And someone actually said to me, what you did was very risky, what if nobody showed up at the new location because people like comfort. I said to him, think about it let us assume that nobody came whose name is going to be put to disrepute? Is it my name? It has nothing to do with my name or me. Understanding this will set you free. He then said, some of us might not be able to take such risks because we have a reputation. I said well the only reputation I have is the Word of God. Has God said it, then I believe it. If God says move, I move. He has also said, “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes” [Isa.54:2 NIV] for you will not be ashamed.
With David, many times God will say for My Name sake I will do xyz. I know that as you walk with God faithfully, God will do in your life that which eyes have not seen, that which ears have not heard, and that which has not even began to enter into the heart of man for His Name sake. Strictly for His Name sake. Now the key thing for you and I is that if God has said to you I am going to make this your small business a multinational business just believe it. It does not hurt anybody, it would not even hurt you to believe. When the ‘what if it does not work thoughts’ come, let your response be what if it works. Just believe! It is not a cliché, in your life God will do that which eyes have not seen and that which ears have not heard, just believe it! I was praying sometime ago and in the spirit I saw a gush of water. So in my mind I thought is there going to be flood? Then I felt God pointing me to Ezekiel 47:9 [please read], it was not water as in a flood but rather the water of His Spirit and everywhere the water touches life bursts forth. This season, the flood gates of heavens are being opened, as the waters of heaven are being released upon us everything it touches will come to life! Is that not in line with Bloom? Remember God’s Word is cumulative, so get ready.
Prayer [song]: Open the flood gates of Heaven Let it rain, let it rain [repeat]. Over my life, over Your Church, Over Nigeria, in Jesus Name.
