Rejoice Because… I

Phil.4:4 “Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again–rejoice!” [with emphasis].

You are rejoicing this year and beyond for so many reasons. You are rejoicing because God will rescue you. Ps.13:5 “But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me” [with emphasis]. You are rejoicing because God will bless the work of your hands. Deu.12:7 “There you and your families will feast in the presence of the Lord your God, and you will rejoice in all you have accomplished because the Lord your God has blessed you” [with emphasis].

You are rejoicing because you will have answer for all your enemies. Why is this important? It is important because when people see you and see God and say that how can she not be able to pay her rent and she says she has a very big God. Let your God pay your rent. They may never say it to your face but they say it. But you will build your own house. When you build your house and you invite them to come and celebrate with you, have you not answered them? They say, he is serving God but he is still living in his parent’s garage. You will own your own house, in Jesus Name. Is that not an answer? 1 Sam.2:1 “Then Hannah prayed: “My heart rejoices in the Lord! The Lord has made me strong. Now I have an answer for my enemies; I rejoice because you rescued me” [with emphasis].

You are rejoicing because your giving will be wholeheartedly and this is so important. 1 Chr.29:9 “The people rejoiced over the offerings, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the Lord, and King David was filled with joy” [with emphasis]. Unfortunately, some people do not understand or experience the beauty of giving wholeheartedly in church and even beyond church. Imagine you have a cousin that is going through a tight season and because God has blessed you, you are able to give your cousin wholeheartedly. There is a joy that comes from helping that person. Imagine you are able to sponsor the building of ministry facilities for your church. There is a joy that comes from that, believe me and it is joy unspeakable.

Prayer: God, You are my salvation, You bless the works of my hands, You have given me answers for my enemies and made me a blessing, I rejoice in You, in Jesus Name. Amen!
