By Him

Rom.12:2 “Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

Today, we pick up from where we stopped yesterday, which is, it is erroneous to believe that once you are under the blood, it does not matter how you live. God shows us in His Word Read the rest of this entry

Paul’s Case

Eph.4:17 “With the Lord’s authority I say this: Live no longer as the Gentiles do, for they are hopelessly confused.”

Whereas in Eph.4:1 Paul said, “I beg you…”, in Eph.4:17 he says, “With the Lord’s authority I say this…”. We see a graduation from the picture of a father talking to his children, “I beg you…”. Read the rest of this entry

Such Love!

Rom.8:38-39 (Voice) “For I have every confidence that nothing—not death, life, heavenly messengers, dark spirits, the present, the future, spiritual powers, height, depth, nor any created thing—can come between us and the love of God revealed in the Anointed, Jesus our Lord.

Yesterday, we not only enumerated Paul’s five prayer points from Eph.3:16-19, we also prayed them over our lives by faith in Christ Jesus. Read the rest of this entry

All This

Eph.3:1, 14-15 “When I think of all this, I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus for the benefit of you Gentiles . . . When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.” (emphasis added).

Boldly & Confidently!

Heb.4:16 “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”

There is nothing that can be done to crush the Church in Nigeria, the Church in every nation of the world (this bit was my addition – thinking globally). Nothing! Read the rest of this entry

GOD’s Intent

Eph.3:9 “I was chosen to explain to everyone this mysterious plan that God, the Creator of all things, had kept secret from the beginning.”

What is this mysterious plan Paul is speaking about? Paul explained the first part when he said God’s plan was for the Jews and Gentiles to be together in the body. Read the rest of this entry

Chosen

Prov.25:2 “It is God’s privilege to conceal things and the king’s privilege to discover them.”

A lot of people feel guilty when they miss their quiet time. As though God will go hungry because they did not do their quiet time. Why do you feel guilty? Read the rest of this entry

Privilege

Rom.5:2 “Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.”

Matt.20:11-12When they received their pay, they protested to the owner, ‘Those people worked only one hour, and yet you’ve paid them just as much as you paid us who worked all day in the scorching heat.'” Read the rest of this entry
