Obey Divine Direction

In time past, I was driving in London and had to attend church. I did not know the routes so I had to drive using a GPS navigator. But that fateful, morning there was road construction going on and the GPS had not updated itself. It did not know that there was a roadblock so it took me right to it. Divine Direction
‘Then at last the Lord said to me, ‘You have been wandering around in this hill country long enough; turn to the north’ Deut. 2:2-3
Principle #3 is the principle of divine direction. The principle of divine direction simply states that God knows your way out of poverty. Go and get that direction from Him. In the part of the world that I come from, they say ‘it is God that knows the path to wealth’ [Yoruba proverb translated]. Responsibility & Loyalty
‘When she told the man of God what had happened, he said to her, “Now sell the olive oil and pay your debts, and you and your sons can live on what is left over’ 2 Kings 4:7
Principle #1 is the principle of responsibility. God said to the woman, the first thing you do is pay your debt then live on the rest. The strange thing about a lot of us is that we don’t mind owing people and we don’t have a sense of responsibility towards them. How do you expect that you would prosper? It doesn’t work like that. The Condition

The sixth truth is money actually grows on trees. The problem with a lot of us is that we are too lazy to go and pluck it. Secondly, we are too lazy to plant the seed, nurture it, and watch it grow into a tree. Then it starts to bear fruits of money and we begin to pluck it. You Will Obey!

The Truth

Yesterday we highlighted four levels of money – poverty, lack, comfortable, rich, and the wealthy. The rich are conceited and sadly they are the last to know that they are proud. The wealthy people most often look as simple as can be. Beyond the level of the rich and the wealthy is the level of the flourishing. The Bible says they that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish. The people on this level have a very different attitude to life. Levels

The fourth truth about money is money has levels. Prosperity has levels. The different levels are: the poverty level -every one that is struggling with poverty Jesus will set you free today. The lack level – this is when the person is not poor but is in lack. The comfortable level – the person is not in poverty but the person is not in riches either, they are just comfortable. Object Of Affection
‘No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money’ Matt.6:24.
Jesus is saying when it comes to service you have to choose between God and money. A lot of people are serving money. And a lot of people are only serving God because of money. So who are they serving? A lot of people will only come to church because that breakthrough came through. They will only move close to God because there is a potential financial increase.
