A New Dawn!
‘The people will no longer quote this proverb: the parents have eaten sour grapes, but their children’s mouths pucker at the taste. All people will die for their own sins – those who eat the sour grapes will be the ones whose mouths will pucker’ Jer. 31:29 -30.
There are people who are stuck in yesterday but by no fault of theirs. It is because they are victims of an ancestral cycle, a cycle that just keeps going round in their family. Today that cycle will be broken in your life in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Believe me! Stop trying to ration it out because of the number of deliverances you have gone for. Don’t be like that man by the pool. Just believe that the cycle has Read the rest of this entry
Fresh Start II
‘Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives’ Ps.90: 14.
As the day breaks for some of us, our fresh start would be the next level of entrepreneurship. But it is important for you to know that it does not get easier when you run your own business. I encounter a lot of people who are tired of working under someone and want to start their own business. If that is your only motivation, then you might just be looking for another job very quickly. You need to Read the rest of this entry
Fresh Start I
The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. Lam.3:22-23
The first thing you need to know as the day breaks, is that you get a new and a fresh start. You get a new and a fresh start. Every morning, as this season affords us, gives us the prospect of fresh opportunities of God’s mercy. Some of us actually believe that we have exhausted God’s faithfulness. Guess what you have not. He is going to show you another dimension of faithfulness today and you will Read the rest of this entry
The Answer
‘When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?” “I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me’ John 5:6-7.
Honorable Word
‘God detests the prayers of a person who ignores the law… People who conceal their sins will not prosper, bit if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy’ Prov.28:9 & 13.
I have often heard people say they borrowed money without the knowledge of the owner. Some go ahead to invest the ‘borrowed’ money and then the investment crashes. Then they get into trouble with the owner whose first reaction is to bring them to justice. They pray and expect God to swoop in and save them. And when God does not respond they wonder why and what they should do. Scripture says ‘God detests the prayers of a person who ignores the law’ Prov.28:9. Firstly, the reality is that you did not borrow the money. You stole Read the rest of this entry
The Only Way!
‘Jesus told him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me’ John 14:6.
A lot of people even those who refuse to admit it are wondering if Jesus is the only way to God? Well I will let Jesus answer this question Himself. ‘Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me’ John 14:6 [KJV]. This is a direct quote from Jesus Himself. If you have an issue with this answer then you have an issue with Jesus. “I am an historian, I am not a believer, but I must confess as a historian that this penniless preacher from Nazareth is irrevocably the very center Read the rest of this entry
What Is Your Goal?
‘I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!’ Phil.3:10-11
What are those things that you considered valuable before you met Christ? After you met Him are they still that valuable? ‘For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ’ Phil.3:8. What must you count as garbage today? No one in his/her right senses wants to keep garbage consistently in the house. As soon as you identify it as garbage, the next instinct is to throw it out. We have come to the beginning of another year and while we must not take our focus off being thankful to Read the rest of this entry
Undeniable Change
‘I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done’ Phil.3:7.
‘I don’t know whether he is a sinner,” the man replied. “But I know this: I was blind, and now I can see!’ John 9:25. If you check with anyone who is consistently walking with God, one thing we all have in common is that there has been great change since we met the person of Jesus. Claiming you are saved and refusing to change is making yourself a ridicule to the Kingdom of God. You are making a mess of everything God stands for. If you want to be cold be cold. If you want to be hot be hot. If you are lukewarm you are standing the Read the rest of this entry
Make God Happy
‘So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image’ 2 Cor.3:18.
While praying, I often say thank you to the Lord for choosing me because I realize that in truth I could never have chosen Him. You too must understand that Jesus found you first and it was He who refused to let go. You can love Him because He first loved you. It is with this same confidence that we also as Matthew did arrange for the people in our lives to meet with Jesus knowing that He already has His eyes on them. Found people find people! Mathew arranged a dinner party. Think about it, it was a usual thing for his friends to Read the rest of this entry
Attracting Jesus
‘Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” Matt.9:13
‘Later, Matthew invited Jesus and his disciples to his home as dinner guests, along with many tax collectors and other disreputable sinners. But when the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with such scum?” When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do’ Matt.9:10-12. People are quick to point accusing fingers at people in church when they see them step out of line. But guess what, it is because there are a lot of sick people in the church. They may come in Read the rest of this entry
