Charisma I
Eph.4:11-12 “Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.”
God shows us clearly in His Word that the job of the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers is to equip the body for the work of the ministry. Who is supposed to do the work of the ministry? The body. You are part of the action. The work of the ministry is not meant for some superstar pastors or ministers alone. Read the rest of this entry
Q & A VI
Rom.12:4-6 “Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well…”

Q & A V
1 Cor.14:2 (KJV) “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.”
Question: Regarding the gifts of other tongues, in the Book of Acts people from other tribes heard real known languages. I wonder why we no longer see this happen in the Church. Read the rest of this entry
Q & A IV
Isa.55:8-9 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.”
Question: God works with us instantly, silently and completely. When the answers are not immediate, does that mean He is working silently or what should we do? Read the rest of this entry
Through Gifts
1 Cor.12:4-6 “There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.”
Today we will pick up from our final thought from yesterday’s devotional. Which is, the miraculous operates through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The gifts of the Holy Spirit can be categorised into three; Read the rest of this entry
Your Attitude
Deu.10:21 “He alone is your God, the only one who is worthy of your praise, the one who has done these mighty miracles that you have seen with your own eyes.”
From today’s scripture reference, we can clearly see that God is a God of miracles. Nothing is too difficult for God. Jer.32:27 “I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?” Read the rest of this entry
His Attitude
John 10:10 “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”
The first recorded ministry miracle of Jesus is in John 2:1-11 (please read). What significance do you find in the fact that turning water into wine is the first miracle Jesus worked? Is there a second or third level interpretation? Read the rest of this entry
Systemic Miracles
Ps.139:13-14 “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvellous—how well I know it.
God said to Job, have you ever commanded the day to come forth? I know some people wake up and say they want to command the day. Newsflash! that is not what that scripture is saying. Read the rest of this entry
Established Systems
Job 38:12 “Have you ever commanded the morning to appear and caused the dawn to rise in the east? 13 Have you made daylight spread to the ends of the earth…”
You cannot build your life assuming every coincidence is God. A lot of coincidences that people believe to be God have nothing to do with God. They are just coincidences. Read the rest of this entry
Faith Key
Heb.11:6 (AMP) But without faith it is impossible to (walk with God and) please Him, for whoever comes (near) to God must (necessarily) believe that God exists and that He rewards those who (earnestly and diligently) seek Him.
Why do people excuse incompetence or lack of power? Why do people in the Church build theories around their lack of power and around their ignorance? What I have noticed in the Church Read the rest of this entry
