Do Likewise

Gal.3:27-28 “And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

Eph. 2:12-14In those days you were living apart from Christ. You were excluded from citizenship among the people of Israel, and you did not know the covenant promises God had made to them. You lived in this world without God and without hope. But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ. For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.” (emphasis added). We are spiritual Jews; our operations, Christianity as Jesus wanted it is not a religion. His desire is to have a people that are separated for Him and for His Kingdom. Read the rest of this entry

His Path

John 4:1-3 “Jesus knew the Pharisees had heard that he was baptizing and making more disciples than John (though Jesus himself didn’t baptize them—his disciples did). So he left Judea and returned to Galilee.”

Please read John 4:1-42, it is our focus for the next few days and we trust that God’s ancient Word will indeed impact our lives in Jesus Name. John the Beloved pin-points Jesus’ journey to us; He left Galilee and went to Cana and from Cana Jesus went to Judea. Read the rest of this entry

Keys

John 3:30 “He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.”

Jesus was an equalizer he came to show man that nobody is better than anybody. In Luke 14:7-11 [please read], Jesus advised that when you go to a party, do not take the front seat because someone greater than you can come. Jesus is saying, people are on different levels. Knowing

John 3:26 “So John’s disciples came to him and said, “Rabbi, the man you met on the other side of the Jordan River, the one you identified as the Messiah, is also baptizing people. And everybody is going to him instead of coming to us.” (emphasis added).

In today’s scripture reference, John the Baptist’s disciples were practically blaming Him for identifying Jesus as the Messiah because now Jesus is also baptizing people, and everybody is going to Him instead of coming to John and his disciples. Read the rest of this entry

Supernatural Provision

Matt.17:27 “However, we don’t want to offend them, so go down to the lake and throw in a line. Open the mouth of the first fish you catch, and you will find a large silver coin. Take it and pay the tax for both of us.”

Have you ever experienced supernatural provision? Yes, God wants us to work, to invest, and God wants us to save. We have done several teachings on God’s heart for work and for our finances – earn some, save some, invest some, spend less, no loss, give more, and faith it. Read the rest of this entry

Unique

Ps.40:7-8 “Then I said, “Look, I have come. As is written about me in the Scriptures: I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.”

Please read John 3:22-36. As you read, I pray that these Ancient Word will impart your life. John 3:22Then Jesus and his disciples left Jerusalem and went into the Judean countryside. Jesus spent some time with them there, baptizing people.” Read the rest of this entry

Look & Live!

John 3:13-15 “No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven. And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life”

What was Jesus referring to when He spoke about Moses and the bronze snake? Please read Num. 21:4-9. The background to this is, the people of Israel on their way through the wilderness became impatient and started grumbling. Read the rest of this entry

Of The Spirit

John 3:5 “Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.” (emphasis added)

John 3:8The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.” It also means that you cannot explain the operations of people that are born of the Spirit. Born Again?

John 3:3 “Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

John 3:4 What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?” In this verse we see Nicodemus’ confusion. Interestingly, the term born again was not new. Read the rest of this entry

By Night & By Day

John 19:39 “Nicodemus, who had first come to Jesus at night, came now in broad daylight carrying a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds.” (MSG].

Remember, we said previously that the Book of John is John taking us on a journey. Even as we study daily, we will make frequent references to the previous day’s study. Yesterday, we learned that Nicodemus’ coming to Jesus at night was not an act of cowardice. Read the rest of this entry
