Under New Management
‘For Scriptures say, “As surely as I live’, says the Lord, ‘every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will confess and give praise to God. Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God’ Rom.14:11-12
Accept that Jesus is God. Believe that Jesus is able to make you all that God has called you to be. Believe that He is able to break every bad thing in your life. Believe that He loves you and that He is in control of your life. Believe totally that He is in control. If a bird in the air cannot fall to the ground without my Father’s permission, my life is not by chance [Luke 12:6-7]. Commit to following Him. Commit to obeying the words from His mouth. Commit to living according to His will and purpose for you. You must commit the rest of your life to following His plan for your life. If you have a problem with Read the rest of this entry
Seed and Bread
‘Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise’ Heb.10:23.
Everyone that walks with God must necessarily go through storms. Even David had to speak to himself and query his heart. ‘Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance’ Ps.42:5 [KJV]. Have you ever come to God and He turned you back because He was too tired? Have you ever placed a demand on heaven and the response came Read the rest of this entry
Expect Settlement
‘He drove out the nations before them; he gave them their inheritance by lot. He settled the tribes of Israel into their homes’ Ps.78:55.
God’s Word about establishment is true today as it was in time past. A lot of times when we receive a new Word, we forget about the promises before it. It is important to remember that as long as you hold on to a promise, God will bring it to pass. So if you are still looking to God for establishment in certain areas then be most assured that He will establish you. As 2014 expires, remember His promises in time past and be Read the rest of this entry
Not Without Faith
‘And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him’ Heb.11:6.
Faith is the number one pleasing factor when it comes to relating with God. Without faith in your heart you cannot please God. While man looks on the outward appearance and might be fooled by lip service, God looks to your heart. And when He looks and does not find faith then we are not pleasing to Him. But you will please God because you will have faith. You need to constantly hear God to know how to go about pleasing Him at Read the rest of this entry
Provocative Word
‘Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be’ Gen.17:5 & 15.
Even as 2014 comes to an end and as we look forward to 2015, God is saying destiny provoking name change. For some people, God is going to give you a new name before the end of this year. However, for some the name you are carrying is the issue. God had to change Abraham’s name from Abram to Abraham because that is His prophetic destiny. The name Abram was good but it was not great. So you need to carry the name of your Read the rest of this entry
The Name Of Jesus
‘That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father’ Phil.2:10-11
I remember years ago, I was comparatively a new believer. There was a man fully possessed of demons, the demons were speaking queens English, and he was very violent fighting everybody in the room. He said to the head of the prayer unit of the church at the time ‘you are a witch’ and she kept quiet. And he looked at my friend and said ‘you did not pray last night’. He was afraid because he really didn’t pray. All Read the rest of this entry
All-Powerful Name
‘This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds… and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel’ 1Sam.17:46 [NIV]
Goliath did not just die when the stone hit him. Yes he died physically but David won the battle when he came against goliath in the Name of the Lord of Hosts. In the New Testament, Paul was admonishing us to do everything we do in the name of the Lord. Why is Paul saying that? It is because it is in the name of Read the rest of this entry
In The Name Of The Lord!
David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied’ 1Sam.17:45 [NIV].
The conversation with goliath. The fifth conversation David had was with goliath. You must have a conversation with your problem [goliath]. Have a conversation with the chest pain or fibroid, talk to it. As the conversation started, goliath went all spiritual on David. Goliath said, “Do you think I am a dog?” and David must have said “Of course you are a dog. In fact, you are a big foolish dog!” The Bible did not state that but my imagination takes over sometimes. Jesus was saying to the woman that was not Read the rest of this entry
Consider This II
‘Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine’ 1 Sam.17:40 [NIV].
Five is the number for grace. The analysts tell us that the average human being is seven and a half head high. But giants, from nine feet to thirteen feet, are nine head high in comparison. So David had an eleven percent chance to hit goliath’s head. Is that slim? Pretty slim! The Bible says that goliath had a helmet of bronze, so it reduced the space that the stone can even touch. This reduced David’s chances to Read the rest of this entry
God Confidence
‘David said to Saul, “Let no one lose heart on account of this Philistine; your servant will go and fight him” 1 Sam.17:32 [NIV].
The conversation with Saul. The fourth conversation David had was with Saul. Saul sent for David, I am sure he was curious to find out who David was. And do you know the first thing David said when he got before Saul, David said Let no one lose heart on account of this Philistine”. I just love David, don’t you? I mean this was the king of Israel; David was being introduced to the king, he didn’t fall on your face and Read the rest of this entry
