Faith Key

Heb.11:6 (AMP) But without faith it is impossible to (walk with God and) please Him, for whoever comes (near) to God must (necessarily) believe that God exists and that He rewards those who (earnestly and diligently) seek Him.

Why do people excuse incompetence or lack of power? Why do people in the Church build theories around their lack of power and around their ignorance? What I have noticed in the Church Read the rest of this entry

Manoeuvre

Ps.18:31-32 &34 “For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. He trains my hands for battle; he strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow.”

Yesterday, we said the third thing about opportunities is, You Must Stay Flexible To Be Ready. Staying flexible is possible when we keep in step with the Holy Spirit (Gal.5:25). Read the rest of this entry

Be Flexible

John 3:8 “The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.”

Faith Overrides

Mark 5:22-23 Then a leader of the local synagogue, whose name was Jairus, arrived. When he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet, pleading fervently with him. “My little daughter is dying,” he said. “Please come and lay your hands on her; heal her so she can live.”

Faith Is A Certainty That Leads To Action. The knowing that goes beyond intellect and reasoning. At some point in our lives, Sunday evenings were for evangelism. My wife and I were not pastors then but after church, on Read the rest of this entry

Faith is… Action!

James 2:14 & 18 (GNT) “My friends, what good is it for one of you to say that you have faith if your actions do not prove it? Can that faith save you? …My answer is, “Show me how anyone can have faith without actions. I will show you my faith by my actions.”

The third thing faith teaches us is, Faith, Is About Who And Not About What. Our faith is in a Person (Jesus) and not in a process. 2 Tim.1:12 “…I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until the day of his return.” (emphasis added).

Faith is… Flow!

Ez.37:1 & 10The Lord took hold of me, and I was carried away by the Spirit of the Lord to a valley filled with bones… So I spoke the message as he commanded me, and breath came into their bodies. They all came to life and stood up on their feet—a great army.”

Mark 5:33-34 “Then the frightened woman, trembling at the realization of what had happened to her, came and fell to her knees in front of him and told him what she had done. And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”

Jesus could have said, “Woman! Why are you trying to make me unclean?” But Jesus said, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”  With this statement, Jesus did three huge things in the life Read the rest of this entry
